News - Middle East: Israeli enemy media announced a temporary suspension of air traffic at Lod Airport following the launch of a missile from Yemen.

According to Israeli sources, air raid sirens sounded early this morning in various areas across the occupied entity after the missile launch from Yemen.

The Israeli army confirmed that a missile had been launched from Yemen.

Enemy media also reported that a fire broke out near the settlement of Beit Shemesh, close to occupied Al-Quds, due to falling debris during an attempt to intercept the missile.

Since the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Yemen has declared open support for the Palestinian cause, launching several long-range missile and drone operations targeting Israeli-occupied territories. These operations have increasingly disrupted Israeli airspace and triggered alerts across the occupied entity.

Lod (Ben Gurion) Airport, Israel’s main international gateway located near Jaffa, has faced repeated temporary closures due to incoming Yemeni strikes, highlighting the growing reach of regional resistance. 

The ongoing missile launches are part of a broader axis of resistance effort, aligning forces across Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran in opposition to Israeli military actions in Gaza and the West Bank.
