Report: Yemen Launched Nearly 400 Missiles and Drones at Israel Since October 7

News - Middle East: A Hebrew-language website reported on Sunday that the Yemeni Armed Forces have launched dozens of missiles and drones into the occupied territories, successfully hitting their targets. In total, nearly 400 missile and drone attacks have been carried out.

According to the Zionist site Camera, since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza in October 2023, the Yemeni Armed Forces have targeted the Zionist entity and its affiliated shipping vessels in the Red Sea, severely disrupting trade to Israeli ports through the vital waterway.

The Israeli Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) reported that the Yemeni Armed Forces have launched approximately 400 missiles and drones at Israel since October 7, 2023.

On May 6, 2025, the American Jewish Committee (AJC) also stated that Yemen had fired around 60 ballistic missiles and 310 drones at the Zionist entity since the beginning of the war.

Since the outbreak of Israel’s war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Yemen has emerged as a major regional actor in support of the Palestinian cause. Declaring its position as part of the Axis of Resistance, Yemen has conducted sustained missile and drone attacks targeting Israeli-occupied territories and maritime interests linked to the Zionist entity.

These operations, often announced by the Yemeni Armed Forces, have included long-range ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) aimed at key Israeli infrastructure and Red Sea shipping routes. The intent, as repeatedly stated by Yemeni military leadership, is to pressure Israel to end its aggression on Gaza and lift the siege.

These strikes have forced airspace closures, triggered red alerts, damaged infrastructure, and disrupted Israeli-linked maritime trade through the Red Sea—a vital artery for global commerce and Israeli port access.
