News - Yemen: A recent report by the Middle East Institute, a research center specializing in Middle Eastern affairs, stated that the US announcement to halt its aggression on Yemen provided the Yemeni Armed Forces with the opportunity to reorganize and repair damage inflicted by American and Israeli airstrikes on civilian infrastructure, including the Port of Hodeidah and Sana'a International Airport, both overlooking the Red Sea.

The report explained that despite US efforts to weaken the capabilities of the Sana'a-based forces, Yemen has shown remarkable resilience in the face of air raids and has maintained a cohesive and intact leadership.

The Middle East Institute affirmed that the number of Yemeni fighters has been steadily increasing since the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, noting that missile and drone strikes against the Zionist entity have significantly enhanced the regional standing of the Yemeni Armed Forces.

It also highlighted Yemen’s success in developing its missile arsenal and targeting hostile US and Israeli warships in the Red Sea. As a result, Sana'a’s forces are expected to gain even greater strategic importance in the near future.

Since November 2023, Yemen has taken an increasingly central role in the regional conflict sparked by Israel’s war on Gaza, positioning itself not only as a military actor but as a strategic disruptor on the global stage. Under the leadership of the Yemeni Armed Forces and with unwavering public support, Yemen has launched dozens of long-range missile and drone strikes deep into Israeli-occupied territory, enforced a naval blockade in the Red Sea, and openly challenged American and Israeli dominance in the region.
