News - Yemen: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) on Monday condemned the Zionist aggression against Yemen, which targeted civilian infrastructure, power stations, and the ports of Hodeidah, Ras Isa, and Al-Salif.

In a statement, the PFLP described the Zionist attack as another treacherous crime added to the enemy’s bloody record, affirming that no power on Earth can defeat proud Yemen or its brave people.

The statement noted that this large-scale aggression comes at a time when Yemen and its Armed Forces are achieving successive successes in breaking the enemy’s prestige, penetrating its strategic depth, and establishing a clear deterrence equation that reflects the free will of a people who do not back down.

The Front added that the Zionist enemy continues to pursue failed policies that have proven ineffective in the past and will yield no gains now. On the contrary, they will only strengthen Yemen’s resolve to continue supporting Gaza. The PFLP expressed its solidarity with Yemen and its courageous people, who are confronting aggression with patience, strength, and steadfastness.

In a clear escalation, the Israeli military had earlier issued evacuation threats for three Yemeni ports—Hodeidah, Ras Isa, and as-Salif—along with the Hodeidah power station, claiming that these sites were being used for military purposes. 

This comes as part of Israel's attempts to undermine the Yemeni Armed Forces, which have taken a frontline role in enforcing a strategic blockade on vessels heading toward Israeli-controlled ports. The blockade is intended to pressure the Israeli enemy by disrupting its supply chains, particularly those involving military logistics, and to draw global attention to the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.

Since October 7, 2023, over 57,300 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza due to relentless Israeli ground and aerial operations. In response, the Yemeni Armed Forces declared open support for the Palestinian resistance and pledged to continue missile and drone attacks on Israeli positions until the aggression on Gaza ceases.
