In a series of statements, Al-Mashat extended his salute to the Armed Forces “in all their specialized and combat formations” for their high vigilance and full readiness in defending the nation and deterring aggression.
He also hailed the heroic Mujahideen for forcing Israeli aircraft to retreat after attempted strikes on civilian areas on the outskirts of Yemen.
“Our heroes strike the Israeli enemy blow for blow,” he declared, adding, “The enemy’s threats won’t shake a single hair on the head of the smallest child among us.”
Reaffirming Yemen’s commitment to Palestine, Al-Mashat stated: “Our Yemeni people will continue to stand in support of our brothers in Gaza until victory is achieved,” emphasizing that “no Zionist aggression, regardless of its scale or impact, will deter our people from supporting Gaza.”
He encouraged the resistance in Gaza to remain firm in their negotiations: “Negotiate proudly—we stand with you and support you until the siege ends and aggression stops.”
Al-Mashat highlighted the moral clarity of Yemen’s stance, saying: “When it comes to just causes and rightful decisions, the outcomes—no matter how great—do not matter,” and vowed ongoing action: “We will keep supporting Gaza and defending our sovereignty, with surprises to come.”
He concluded by underscoring Yemen’s historic resilience: “Yemen is a field for final blows, not a stage for showmanship—this is what history says, and the present will prove it, Allah willing,” offering a final salute to “our faithful people and our wise, courageous leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi.”
These statements come amid escalating tensions in the region and increasing Yemeni military engagement in response to Israeli operations.
In a clear escalation, the Israeli military had earlier issued evacuation threats for three Yemeni ports—Hodeidah, Ras Isa, and as-Salif—along with the Hodeidah power station, claiming that these sites were being used for military purposes.
This comes as part of Israel's attempts to undermine the Yemeni Armed Forces, which have taken a frontline role in enforcing a strategic blockade on vessels heading toward Israeli-controlled ports. The blockade is intended to pressure the Israeli enemy by disrupting its supply chains, particularly those involving military logistics, and to draw global attention to the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
Since October 7, 2023, over 57,300 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza due to relentless Israeli ground and aerial operations. In response, the Yemeni Armed Forces declared open support for the Palestinian resistance and pledged to continue missile and drone attacks on Israeli positions until the aggression on Gaza ceases.
