Maritime Source: Owner of Magic Seas Operates Three Other Ships Docked in Israel

News - Yemen: Navigation sources reported on Monday that the company that owns the ship Magic Seas, which was attacked in the Red Sea, has other vessels that recently docked at Israeli ports. This development comes alongside an Israeli channel's admission of the military’s inability to stop missile launches from Yemen.

The maritime website Maritime News stated that the company owning the targeted Magic Seas vessel  attacked southwest of the Yemeni city of Hodeidah — owns at least three other ships that have docked in Israel.

The site explained that the attack on Magic Seas was carried out by four unmanned naval units, two of which struck the left side of the ship, causing damage to its cargo.

Meanwhile, the maritime website Lloyd’s List confirmed that AIS (Automatic Identification System) data showed other ships owned by Allseas (believed to be the owning company) recently arrived in Israel.

In a related development, Israel’s Channel 14 quoted unnamed sources saying the Israeli military is unable to stop missile launches from Yemen — a reference to the repeated attacks carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces.

Earlier, the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported that
a merchant vessel caught fire after being targeted by armed men aboard small boats off Yemen’s western coast, near Hodeidah. Small arms and rocket-propelled grenades were used, prompting a firefight with the ship’s security team.

UK-based firm Ambrey reported that eight skiffs surrounded the vessel, which was later struck by two drone boats while two others were intercepted. The attack follows a series of Yemeni operations targeting Israeli-linked or bound vessels.

Since October 2023, Yemen has launched repeated strikes in support of Gaza, vowing to continue until Israel halts its military offensive and blockade. The conflict has also expanded to include US and British vessels following Western airstrikes on Yemen.
