The high-resolution footage, broadcasted on Tuesday, shows the Yemeni Naval Forces issuing a warning call to the ship and its crew via radio signal, affirming that the Yemeni Navy was engaging with them and instructing them to halt and not proceed—otherwise, they would bear responsibility.
The footage also shows repeated calls from the Yemeni Navy to the ship’s crew and captain, urging them not to proceed and not to head to the ports of occupied Palestine. However, the ship refused to comply, despite the persistent warnings that doing so would put them in danger.
Subsequent footage from the War Media Unit captured the moment the first unmanned boat struck the ship and set it ablaze, followed by the second boat hitting the target. Then came the desperate calls from the ship’s crew and captain reporting that they had been attacked by the Yemenis.
Among the most significant scenes was the moment Yemeni Naval Special Forces stormed the ship before detonating it. They reached the control room with their personal weapons and chanted the slogan:
“Allah is great, Death to the US, Death to Israel, Curses upon Jews, Victory for Islam, At your service, O Aqsa! At your service, O Aqsa!"
The final scenes showed the vessel exploding and then sinking entirely into the depths of the sea—a message to all companies to adhere to the Yemeni decision banning the passage of ships to the ports of the Zionist entity in occupied Palestine, or else risk being sunk.
The sinking of the Magic Seas vessel represents a major turning point in Yemen's naval campaign against Israeli-linked shipping in the Red Sea. Announced by Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, the operation was framed as a direct consequence of repeated violations by the vessel's parent company, which has consistently defied Yemen's declared maritime blockade on ships docking in occupied Palestinian ports.
According to Sare’e, three ships belonging to the same company entered Israeli ports in the past week alone, ignoring multiple warnings from the Yemeni Naval Forces. The Magic Seas was targeted after refusing to heed final warnings to stop its passage, and its complete destruction—captured in audio and video—served as a high-profile message to other companies doing business with Israeli ports.
This event fits within a broader strategy by Yemen’s Armed Forces to impose maritime pressure on Israel in solidarity with the people of Gaza. The blockade, first announced publicly months ago, has evolved into a series of targeted naval operations aimed at disrupting economic and logistical ties with the Israeli enemy.
