News - Middle East: Dr. Khalil Al-Daqran, spokesperson for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, stated that the power outages in Gaza’s hospitals amount to the deliberate killing of patients.

In exclusive remarks to Almasirah, he said, “The Israeli enemy is not allowing sufficient fuel to operate Gaza’s hospitals, putting patients’ lives at critical risk.”

He further explained, “The Israeli army has destroyed more than 85 percent of homes in Gaza,” adding that “650,000 children in the Strip are at risk due to malnutrition caused by the ongoing blockade.”

Concluding his statement, Al-Daqran emphasized, “The enemy has already killed over 17,000 children through airstrikes and tanks — and is now killing the rest through hunger and disease.”

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, more than 57,700 Palestinians — mostly women and children — have been killed since the US-Israeli military campaign began in October 2023, with over 137,600 others wounded.
