Global Maritime Firm Confirms Yemeni Strikes Target Only Israel-Linked Ships

News - Middle East: An international maritime intelligence company has confirmed the accuracy of the information used by the Yemeni Armed Forces in targeting ships that violate the navigation ban on Zionist-linked vessels in the Red Sea.

The firm, Windward AI, stated that the two ships recently sunk in the Red Sea were owned by Greek companies within fleets that included other vessels which had docked at Israeli ports over the past 12 months.

It explained that the vessel ETERNITY C had turned off its Automatic Identification System (AIS) while crossing the Red Sea. Additionally, another container ship owned by the same company had docked in Haifa Port in March, April, and July 2025. This, the company noted, adds legitimacy to the Yemeni operations targeting the two vessels.

Windward AI also reported that “ships crossing the Red Sea and belonging to fleets of companies with a history of docking at Israeli ports are at risk”—a clear acknowledgment that Yemen’s Armed Forces are directly targeting vessels that violate the navigation ban on the Zionist entity.

The company further confirmed that over the past six months, 1,113 ships have docked at Israeli ports, and these vessels are linked to more than 15,000 other ships through shared ownership or management.

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza in October 2023, Yemen has emerged as a central force in the regional resistance axis, leveraging its strategic position along the Red Sea to impose a naval blockade on Israeli-linked maritime activity. The Yemeni Armed Forces declared that any ship associated with the Zionist entity would be considered a legitimate target, especially if heading toward ports in occupied Palestine, such as Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat).

Over the past months, several targeted operations—most notably the sinking of the Magic Seas and ETERNITY C vessels—have demonstrated the precision and consistency of this campaign. The Yemeni military has emphasized that its operations are based on verifiable intelligence and that no vessel is targeted arbitrarily.
