News - Middle East: Many international shipping companies have disavowed dealings with Israeli-occupied ports due to the Yemeni-imposed ban on Zionist maritime activity.

According to Reuters, commercial vessels still sailing through the Red Sea have begun broadcasting messages disclosing their nationality and even religious affiliation on public tracking systems to avoid being targeted by the Yemeni Armed Forces—following recent military operations against ships linked to the Zionist entity.

The agency also quoted insurance sector sources saying that insurance companies will now avoid covering any vessel linked to Israel—even indirectly.

Additionally, Reuters cited a maritime security source stating that Yemeni naval intelligence preparation was "much deeper and forward-leaning."

The Red Sea serves as a vital corridor for global oil and commodity shipments, but traffic linked to Israel has significantly declined since Yemeni naval attacks began in November 2023, showing solidarity with Palestinians amid the Gaza genocide. 

This week, the Yemeni Armed Forces sank two vessels following a clear warning from leader of the revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi that no company transporting goods connected to Israel would be allowed safe passage. 

Yemeni Armed Forces have stressed that each operation is intelligence-driven, targeting only those ships directly linked to Israeli ports, thereby reinforcing their narrative of strategic restraint and calculated response.
