News - Middle East: The Hebrew newspaper Davar quoted former head of the Shipping and Ports Authority in the occupied territories, Zionist official Yigal Maor, as saying that the massive impact of the closure of Eilat Port has had significant economic and strategic consequences for "Israel."

Maor acknowledged the precision and advancement of Yemeni naval attacks in the Red Sea, Arabian Sea, and Indian Ocean targeting ships linked to "Israel," confirming that these reflect a new style and tactic of warfare.

He explained that the return of Zionist navigation to the Red Sea will not happen any time soon, adding:
“I see no solution to this problem. We must remember that Eilat Port has been almost entirely shut down for two years.”

Maor pointed out that Eilat, located on the Red Sea, was once a vital hub for importing cars, consumer goods, medicines, and live livestock. It also served as an export point for phosphate shipments to countries like India and China—but all of this has now nearly come to a complete halt.
