News - Yemen: The leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering stance in supporting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. He emphasized that “the Yemeni people will continue their active and determined movement across all fronts — in military operations, popular activities, and public mobilization.”

In a speech on Sunday on the occasion of commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zayd ibn Ali (peace be upon them), the Leader stated that “Our position remains firm in supporting the Palestinian people and confronting American and Israeli tyranny,” affirming that Yemenis “are confident in Allah's true promise of victory.”

He added, “Our movement against American and Israeli tyranny and its extensions in the Ummah is guided by the insight of the Holy Qur’an and a genuine, faith-based vision that spans across generations.”

He emphasized that “the Qur’anic awareness of our people is the foundation of their great steadfastness and unwavering faith.”

The leader also noted that “our Yemeni people, through their continuous and comprehensive movement since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza, have remained steadfast in their position despite enduring two successive waves of military attacks.”

He added that “all enemy attempts to divert our people from their faithful path have failed.”

He further stated: “In its support for Gaza, Yemen has faced thousands of airstrikes, a suffocating blockade, severe reductions in humanitarian aid, and a systematic economic war. It is also confronting an intense propaganda campaign aimed at breaking the people’s will and distracting them from their primary causes.”

Yemen's military support for Gaza has become one of the defining elements of the regional confrontation with the Israeli enemy, particularly following years of sustained conflict and siege. 

By enforcing a naval blockade on Israeli-linked vessels and developing advanced missile and drone technologies, Yemen has not only bolstered its military capabilities but also shifted the balance of power in the Red Sea and beyond.
