News - Middle East: A Lebanese military expert confirmed that Yemen has emerged as the major strategic threat to the Zionist enemy, given its growing capabilities versus the enemy’s abject failure in countering Yemeni deterrence.

He added: "The US-British naval alliance spent over a year trying to prevent Yemen from supporting Gaza—it failed, ended its mission in retreat, and proved incapable of confronting Yemen."

Shehadeh pointed out that no matter how many attacks the Zionist enemy launches on Yemen, they will lead to no tangible outcome, given Yemen’s geographical distance from the entity and the weakness of (Israeli) intelligence, which is unable to penetrate Yemen’s interior.

He stressed that the Zionist enemy’s resort to bombing ports and factories reflects military and intelligence bankruptcy.

Shehadeh continued: "Israel itself has admitted it suffers from a weakness in reaching Yemeni military sites."

Despite these losses, the outcome remains failure—the enemy cannot achieve any strategic goal, nor can it weaken Yemen’s capabilities.

He explained: "The Zionists announced the closure of the Umm al-Rashrash port, and the reason is Yemeni operations that have shut down the entity’s sole southern maritime facility in the Red Sea."

He stated: "In its latest operation, Yemen targeted Lod and Ramon airports, Umm al-Rashrash, and other sites—confirming its ability to execute wide-ranging strategic strikes deep inside the occupied territories."

He added: "The enemy admitted that Yemeni drones reached occupied lands without triggering alarm sirens, proving their failure to detect them."

Shehadeh emphasized: "The distribution of drones across multiple targets deep in the occupation means every square kilometer is now vulnerable to Yemeni missiles and drones. There is no safe place for the Zionists."

The Yemeni Air Force of the Armed Forces today carried out a special military operation using five drones that targeted Lod Airport and another military site in the Jaffa area, in addition to striking the port of Umm al-Rashrash, Ramon Airport, and a vital target in the Ashdod area of occupied Palestine.

Yemen's military support for Gaza has become one of the defining elements of the regional confrontation with the Israeli enemy, particularly following years of sustained conflict and siege. 

By enforcing a naval blockade on Israeli-linked vessels and developing advanced missile and drone technologies, Yemen has not only bolstered its military capabilities but also shifted the balance of power in the Red Sea and beyond.
