Millions March in Sana’a: Yemen Vows Escalation Against Zionism

News - Yemen: In a solemn and unprecedented scene, Al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sana'a hosted a historic million-strong march on Friday afternoon, less than 24 hours after the Leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi called upon the Yemeni people for massive mobilization.

Under the slogan "We Will Not Tolerate Gaza’s Genocide or the Violation of Our Nation and Sanctities," millions of free Yemenis poured in from all districts of the capital and Sana’a Governorate. The newly designated sections around the square and adjacent streets overflowed, with crowds continuing to arrive until the final moments of the march.

The scene embodied a sincere and powerful response to the Leader’s call—a call of faith, humanity, and morality—as Zionist crimes reach their peak, with Palestinians, including women, children, and the elderly, dying from starvation and siege.

The square was draped with Yemeni and Palestinian flags and resistance banners as the million-strong crowd roared with thunderous slogans against the US-Israeli genocide.

General Mobilization and Urgent Appeals
The Yemeni people declared a state of general mobilization, calling for intensified efforts in recruitment, training camps, and expanded "Al-Aqsa Flood" courses. They urged all free people to unite in the battle of "The Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad," raising readiness to unprecedented levels.

Reiterating Sayyed Abdulmalik’s appeals, they demanded that countries bordering occupied Palestine open crossings to allow hundreds of Yemeni fighters to join the mujahideen in Gaza. They condemned the Arab and Islamic world’s inaction, warning of divine retribution for abandoning the greatest oppressed people on earth.

The crowd welcomed Sayyed’s announcement of "additional escalatory measures in the coming phase," reaffirming their mandate for him to pursue all options in supporting Palestine and confronting the criminal Zionist enemy.

Before reading the march’s statement, Yemen’s Mufti, Allamah Shamsuddin Sharafuddin, delivered a speech reminding the Ummah’s scholars—especially those in nations neighboring Palestine—of their duty to support the Palestinian people, "the highest form of jihad for Allah’s sake."

He stated: "The scholars of frontline nations bear the greatest obligation, but no Islamic country is exempt—even those farthest away. All are accountable before Allah to stand with Palestine."

He praised the few scholars who fulfilled their duty, issuing fatwas on the obligation of jihad, while lamenting: "Where is the mercy? Where is the compassion? Where is the zeal for your brothers dying daily of hunger while you watch unmoved?!"

Allamah Shamsuddin then read the march’s declaration: "We march today with hearts aching for our beloved in Gaza, enduring the worst crimes of slaughter, terror, and systematic starvation—betrayed from within and besieged from without."

The statement condemned the complicit regimes blocking Yemen’s path to Gaza, preventing mujahideen from confronting the Zionists directly.

The silence of the Ummah as a Muslim people are exterminated with banned weapons, denied food and water before the world’s eyes.

It held "the U.S. and Zionist leaders fully responsible for genocide, using starvation as a weapon," exposing their hypocrisy on human rights and moral claims.

The statement also blamed "the silent and colluding Arab rulers for enabling the enemy’s crimes".

"We affirm our full readiness to bear the consequences of any decision to confront the enemy and relieve Gaza," it declared, concluding with a vow: "Our support for Gaza stems from faith in Allah, His Book, and His Messenger. We trust in His promise: victory for the righteous, ruin for the criminals—as all history testifies."
