News - Yemen: Strategic affairs researcher Ali Hamiyah stated that Yemen is today leading the Arab awakening in the context of the struggle against the Zionist enemy entity.

In a special statement to Almasirah channel on Friday, Hamiyah explained that "the Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out nearly 1,680 military operations, through which they have paralyzed the movement of the Israeli enemy and exposed the weakness of the Arab regimes that normalized ties."

He pointed out that "Yemen has so far succeeded in changing the geopolitical and geostrategic rules—meaning that two countries do not need to be neighboring for one to achieve victory over the other." He emphasized that "Yemen has achieved a resounding victory over the United States of America, whether anyone likes it or not, and has also secured a major triumph against the Zionist enemy entity."

The strategic affairs researcher affirmed that "the leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, has successfully transformed the battle from a war of armies—in which Arab states and regimes failed to offer anything to the Palestinian people after their rulers were magnetically lulled into submission following Western blackmail—into a war of peoples."

He noted that "the leader has mobilized the masses, shifting the battle from a war between armies and the Israeli enemy to a direct war between the peoples and the enemy. Yemen has achieved absolute success in this regard." 

He added that "the strategic void left by the entity accelerates the end of Israeli occupation," stressing that "the enemy’s geographical expansion, encroachment, and occupation of other lands will become a future weakness, while it represents a strength for the free Arab peoples who have moved in alignment with the directives of the leader Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi."

Since the onset of the Israeli war on Gaza, Yemen has emerged as one of the most vocal and active supporters of the Palestinian cause, both rhetorically and militarily. Despite facing its own war, humanitarian crisis, and years of blockade, Yemen has leveraged its strategic position and revolutionary leadership to challenge Israeli and Western dominance in the region. Under the leadership of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, Yemen has not only taken symbolic stances but has also implemented direct action—such as naval and aerial embargoes on Israeli-linked infrastructure and support for the Palestinian resistance.

This shift has reignited interest in Yemen’s role in the Arab-Israeli conflict and reshaped how regional solidarity is understood. While many Arab regimes move toward normalization with Israel, Yemen has charted a path of active resistance.
