The Resistance Committees stated: "The strikes and the million-man march prove that Yemen remains steadfast in its principles and unwavering in its sincere support for our people and our resistance."
They added that "the precision strikes launched by Yemen deep into the entity expose the ongoing and accumulated failures of the Zionists in confronting Yemen’s might," noting that "the advancement of Yemen’s military industries has disrupted all Zionist calculations."
The Resistance Committees extended their highest salute to "dear Yemen—its leadership, people, and army—who stand victorious for their starved brothers in Gaza, at a time when all others have failed to defend them."
In a solemn and unprecedented scene, Al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sana'a and other governorates hosted million-strong marches on Friday afternoon, less than 24 hours after the Leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi called upon the Yemeni people for massive mobilization.
Hours later, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they executed a precise military operation targeting a sensitive enemy site in the occupied Be’er Sheva area using a hypersonic ballistic missile of the Palestine-2 type.
Additionally, the Air Force carried out three military operations targeting vital Israeli enemy sites in Umm al-Rashrash, Ashkelon, and Hadera, located south of occupied Haifa.
These actions are framed as part of a broader Yemeni strategy to enforce an aerial and naval blockade on the Israeli enemy in response to its war crimes and humanitarian blockade of Gaza. By continually threatening key points in occupied Palestine, the Yemeni forces aim to create both material and psychological pressure to halt the assault on Gaza and open humanitarian corridors.
The Yemeni government and armed groups have repeatedly stated that their operations are defensive and moral in nature, declaring unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian cause and vowing to continue their strikes until the siege on Gaza is lifted and the aggression ends.
This comes as Gaza’s Government Media Office announced that at least 122 Palestinians — including 83 children — have died from starvation since Israel’s military onslaught began in October 2023, most of them in recent weeks.
Since October 7, Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 59,676 Palestinians, most of them women and children, and forced the displacement of nearly the entire population of 2.2 million, reducing much of the coastal enclave to rubble.
