News - Yemen: A Yemeni military source confirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces continue to enforce a maritime navigation ban on the Israeli entity, preventing the passage of any ship—regardless of its nationality or the identity of its owning or operating company—if it has ties to the Zionist regime.

The source called on all vessels to activate their communication identifiers and affirmed that Yemeni Naval Forces are prepared to assist and guide ships through international Channel 16 or via the email address: [email protected].

The statement urged all shipowners, operators, and the global maritime community to refrain from any dealings with the Israeli entity to ensure the safety of vessels and their crews.

Maritime navigation, the source stressed, remains safe for all ships except those affiliated with Israel, those heading to occupied Palestinian ports, or those owned or operated by companies that violate the Yemeni-imposed ban. The source emphasized that violators would bear full responsibility for the safety of their ships, crews, and the surrounding marine environment.

The statement cited the recent targeting of the ETERNITY C ship after its captain ignored repeated warnings from Yemeni Naval Forces, including direct orders via Channel 16 to halt. The ship was ultimately targeted after refusing to comply.

The ETERNITY C is operated by COSMO SHIPMANAGEMENT S.A., a company known to operate several vessels that have docked at Israeli ports. Among them is the HSL NIKE, which made four voyages from Turkish and Egyptian ports to the occupied port of Haifa during March, April, June, and July of this year. Another vessel, FAITH, conducted two similar trips in recent months.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced the launch of a new phase in their naval blockade against the Zionist entity, targeting all ships belonging to companies that deal with ports in occupied Palestine, regardless of the company's nationality or the ship’s destination.

In a statement, Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e declared: "The Yemeni Armed Forces have decided to escalate their military support operations and implement the fourth phase of the naval blockade on the enemy. This phase includes targeting all ships belonging to any company that deals with Israeli ports—regardless of the company's nationality and wherever our forces can reach them."
