News - Middle East: A total of 113 martyrs and 637 injuries were recorded in Gaza hospitals over the past 24 hours due to continued Zionist aggression, bringing the overall number of martyrs to over 60,000 since October 7, 2023.

According to its daily report, the Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that the Israeli assault has so far resulted in 60,034 martyrs and 145,870 injuries since the start of the war. The ministry noted that since the resumption of the genocidal campaign on March 18, the toll includes 8,867 martyrs and 33,829 injuries.

It further emphasized that many victims remain trapped under the rubble or lie in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are still unable to reach them.

As for those martyred while waiting for food aid, 22 deaths and over 199 injuries were reported in the past 24 hours alone.

This raises the total number of martyrs who died while seeking aid to 1,179, with 7,957 injuries documented so far.

The Government Media Office in Gaza has issued a dire warning about an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, stating that over 100,000 children, including 40,000 infants, are at risk of death from hunger due to the ongoing blockade.

The overall death toll from starvation and malnutrition has now reached 122, including 83 children, and is expected to rise rapidly as the siege and crossing closures continue.

As of now, at least 59,733 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed, and 144,477 others injured in the brutal Israeli onslaught on Gaza since October 7, 2023.
