Israeli Officials Warn of Economic Paralysis from Yemen’s Naval Blockade

News - Yemen: The Israel News website has confirmed that the Zionist entity is experiencing mounting anxiety following the announcement by the Yemeni Armed Forces of the commencement of the fourth phase of the naval blockade. The blockade targets vessels linked to occupied ports or those interacting with them directly or indirectly.

The announcement has raised significant alarm within the political and military establishment of the Israeli enemy, amid growing assessments that maritime traffic to and from the occupied ports will be further disrupted compared to previous phases.

According to the report published Wednesday, the enemy entity has issued warnings to shipping operators, urging them to avoid routes in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea due to fears of renewed attacks by the Yemeni Armed Forces. This comes after Yemen reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause and continuing its operations until the siege on Gaza is lifted and the aggression ends.

The report indicated that the new phase includes a technical escalation in the weaponry used and an expansion in the geographic scope of the blockade. This development places the occupation before complex challenges that cannot be resolved through military means or international pressure.

The source noted that Yemen’s move comes amid a clear failure by the United States to establish maritime security in the region, particularly following the reduction of US military presence in the Red Sea and the declining effectiveness of European naval operations.

In this context, Zionist analysts warned that the continuation of the blockade in its current form may lead to genuine economic paralysis at the occupied ports, especially as a number of international shipping companies have refrained from operating routes toward the Israeli entity. This underscores the growing economic challenges the Israeli enemy is facing as a result of Yemen’s escalating naval blockade.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced the launch of a new phase in their naval blockade against the Zionist entity, targeting all ships belonging to companies that deal with ports in occupied Palestine, regardless of the company's nationality or the ship’s destination.

In a statement, Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e declared: "The Yemeni Armed Forces have decided to escalate their military support operations and implement the fourth phase of the naval blockade on the enemy. This phase includes targeting all ships belonging to any company that deals with Israeli ports—regardless of the company's nationality and wherever our forces can reach them."

These actions are framed as part of a broader Yemeni strategy to enforce an aerial and naval blockade on the Israeli enemy in response to its war crimes and humanitarian blockade of Gaza. By continually threatening key points in occupied Palestine, the Yemeni forces aim to create both material and psychological pressure to halt the assault on Gaza and open humanitarian corridors.
