News_ Middle East: The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Wednesday the arrival of 104 martyrs—including one recovered from beneath the rubble—and 399 new injuries to hospitals across the Strip during the past 24 hours, amid the continued Israeli aggression now entering its 297th consecutive day.

In its daily report on the toll of the aggression, reviewed by Al-Masirah Net, the Ministry stated that a number of victims remain trapped under debris or lie in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them due to relentless bombing and movement restrictions in several devastated areas.

Regarding the so-called “Bread Martyrs”, hospitals in Gaza documented 60 martyrs and at least 195 injuries within the past 24 hours due to targeted attacks on food distribution points and aid queues. This brings the total number of martyrs in this category to 1,239, while the number of wounded has surpassed 8,152 since the beginning of the aggression.

Additionally, seven new deaths have been recorded in recent hours due to famine and malnutrition, raising the total number of famine-related deaths to 154, including 89 children, amid worsening humanitarian and health conditions, and the ongoing severe shortage of food, water, and medicine.

The Government Media Office of Gaza has issued a warning regarding an unparalleled humanitarian disaster, indicating that over 100,000 children, among them 40,000 infants, are at risk of life-threatening hunger as a result of the blockade.

The overall death count resulting from starvation and malnutrition has currently reached 122, including 83 children, and it is projected to escalate rapidly as the siege and the closure of crossings persist.

At least 59,733 Palestinians have been killed, mostly women and children, and another 144,477 individuals injured in the brutal Israeli onslaught on Gaza since October 7, 2023.
