News - Middle East: Lebanese military and strategic expert, Brigadier General Omar Maarabouni, stated that the foundation of Yemen’s military operations in support of Gaza is a "battle of principles" rooted in religious duty, morality, and human instinct.

In an exclusive statement to Almasirah TV on Tuesday, Brig. Gen. Maarabouni noted that this foundation gives Yemen’s operations a "sincere, transparent, and clear dimension," leading to strategic outcomes that undermine the pillars of the Zionist entity.

He explained that the Yemeni Armed Forces do not exaggerate their capabilities but instead use their limited resources to achieve significant results. He emphasized that the clear will stemming from moral and religious commitment is the key factor in the success of this battle.

The Lebanese military expert pointed out that Yemen’s operations aim to achieve two main objectives:

Pushing the enemy into a state of instability by targeting its vital ports and centers.

Exposing the hypocrisy of those who hesitate, proving that confronting the enemy is possible despite claims of inability.

Brig. Gen. Maarabouni stated that Yemen’s operations directly contribute to dismantling the four foundational pillars of the Zionist entity. He clarified that Yemen is the "primary and most significant contributor" to striking the first pillar—"security"—by instilling fear, panic, and instability in the Israeli occupation.

Although he did not elaborate on the remaining three pillars, he hinted at them as follows:

Erosion of sympathy for the "Holocaust" narrative, which the Zionist entity has exploited.

Loss of function, as the entity no longer serves Western interests but instead relies on Western defense.

Escalating operations and an effective naval blockade.

The military expert noted that the Yemeni Armed Forces recently announced targeting three Zionist enemy sites with three drones, confirming that these operations are intensifying, with three to four attacks per week.

Brig. Gen. Maarabouni stressed that these operations send a clear message: Yemen will continue its duty despite the abandonment of the Palestinian cause by Arabs, Muslims, and the world. This principled stance will persist until the aggression stops and the siege on Gaza is lifted.

In response to the escalating genocidal war on Gaza, which began in October 2023, Yemeni forces implemented a strategic maritime blockade aimed at disrupting the supply of military resources to Israel and urging the international community to address the dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Simultaneously, they carried out numerous missile and drone strikes against strategic targets within the Israeli-occupied territories in solidarity with Palestinians enduring 20 months of relentless war.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have made it clear that they will not halt their operations until Israel ceases its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.

The devastating Israeli war has resulted in the deaths of nearly 61,000 Palestinians so far, the majority of whom are women and children.
