News - Yemen: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine praised the Yemeni Armed Forces for targeting Lod Airport, known in the Zionist entity as “Ben Gurion Airport,” with a hypersonic missile named Palestine-2.

In a statement issued, the Popular Front affirmed that the qualitative Yemeni missile strike marks a new development in the equation of deterrence and a direct challenge to the myth of Zionist security and military superiority.

The statement noted that Yemen stands at the forefront of the active forces within the Arab nation that have truly supported Palestine through direct and resistant action. It added that Yemen’s continued execution of precise attrition operations deep inside the entity over many months reflects a steadfast political, military, and popular will.

The Popular Front expressed deep pride in Yemen’s honorable position, stressing that Yemeni military operations represent one of the highest forms of support and backing for the Palestinian cause.

It further stated: “Our solidarity with the brotherly Yemeni people in confronting the blockade and aggression is a principled stance,” calling on all active forces in the Arab nation to follow Yemen’s sincere example.

Earlier in an official statement, the Armed Forces confirmed that the Rocketry Force carried out a precision military operation against Lod Airport in occupied Yafa using a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile. The operation successfully achieved its objectives, forcing millions of Zionist occupiers to flee to shelters and paralyzing airport operations.

In response to the escalating genocidal war on Gaza, which began in October 2023, Yemeni forces implemented a strategic maritime blockade aimed at disrupting the supply of military resources to Israel and urging the international community to address the dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Simultaneously, they carried out numerous missile and drone strikes against strategic targets within the Israeli-occupied territories in solidarity with Palestinians enduring 20 months of relentless war.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have made it clear that they will not halt their operations until Israel ceases its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.

The devastating Israeli war has resulted in the deaths of nearly 61,000 Palestinians so far, the majority of whom are women and children.
