Palestinian Researcher: Yemen Expertly Leads Psychological and Military Battle

News - Yemen: Political writer and researcher Hamzah Al-Bishtawi stated that the Zionist entity is facing escalating confusion and growing incapacity in confronting developments on the Yemeni front—particularly with the expansion of maritime support operations and their impact on international actors aligned with the occupation.

In a statement to Al-Masirah, Al-Bishtawi affirmed that Yemen’s new tactic of linking naval operations to military support represents a strategic and intelligent maneuver in the conduct of the battle. This approach has disrupted the enemy’s calculations and thwarted repeated attempts to form regional alliances aimed at curbing Yemeni support for the Palestinian resistance.

He added that this method has generated psychological, political, and economic pressure within the Zionist entity, contributing to a growing crisis of confidence between settlers and the political and security leadership—particularly in light of the repeated sirens and Yemeni operations targeting deep inside the occupied territories.

Al-Bishtawi noted that Yemen has managed both the psychological and military dimensions of the conflict with notable professionalism. He pointed out that fear within the Zionist entity is no longer limited to missile threats but has extended to the wider aftershocks affecting the internal front economically and socially. He emphasized that the synchrony between Yemeni missile launches and warning sirens has caused widespread panic and a breakdown in the settlers’ ability to seek shelter effectively.

He further stated that the capabilities of the Yemeni Armed Forces have proven exemplary in facing challenges, as reflected in the growing reach of Yemeni operations deep into occupied areas, including Tel Aviv and central regions.

According to Al-Bishtawi, these operations have had a significant impact on the Zionist entity’s internal front—especially within the military ranks, where cases of suicide and desertion have increased. He also pointed to widening rifts among the enemy’s leadership, particularly between the Chief of Staff of the occupation army and the government headed by Benjamin Netanyahu.

He questioned the ongoing insistence of certain Arab regimes on disarming the resistance at a time when the whole world is witnessing the crimes committed against the Palestinian people. He stressed that the weapons of the resistance do not belong to any single faction, but represent the will of the Palestinian people to defend their land and dignity. These weapons, he affirmed, have altered the balance of power and imposed a new deterrence equation in the region.

Al-Bishtawi concluded by noting that the current situation marks a significant strategic shift in the nature of the conflict, as the so-called “Greater Israel” project deteriorates due to the steadfastness of the Axis of Resistance. He argued that the Zionist entity now functions more as a Western military outpost—lacking autonomy and dependent on the United States, the West, and the complicity of subordinate regional regimes to ensure its survival.

Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause is rooted in decades of political, religious, and popular solidarity. This stance has only intensified since the Israeli enemy's war on Gaza began in October 2023, prompting widespread outrage across Yemen.

Unlike many regional governments that have normalized relations with the Israeli entity or remained silent, Yemen—particularly under the leadership in Sana'a—has positioned itself at the forefront of resistance. From mass protests to economic boycotts and even military operations, the Yemeni response has been comprehensive and deeply ideological.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared and carried out aerial and maritime operations targeting Israel-linked shipping and military interests, framing these actions as direct support for the people of Gaza. Meanwhile, public sentiment has been overwhelmingly mobilized through school marches, mosque sermons, and national media.

As the war on Gaza continues, Yemen's leadership continues to assert that their support will persist—militarily, politically, and morally—until justice is achieved, the aggression ends, and the siege on Gaza is fully lifted.
