News - Middle East: The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Tuesday that 100 martyrs — including 11 recovered from under the rubble — and 513 injuries arrived at the sector’s hospitals over the past 24 hours.

In its daily statistical report, the ministry noted that many victims remain trapped under debris and on roadways, preventing ambulance and civil defense teams from reaching them.

It reported that the death toll and injuries since the start of the aggression on 7 October 2023 have risen to 61,599 martyrs and 154,088 injuries, while between 18 March 2025 and today alone, the total reached 10,078 martyrs and 42,047 injuries.

The ministry stated that among the victims of the past 24 hours were 31 martyrs and 388 injuries among those seeking humanitarian aid — bringing the total number of such “breadline martyrs” to 1,838 and more than 13,409 injuries.

Gaza hospitals also recorded five new deaths due to famine and malnutrition, including two children, raising the total number of hunger-related deaths to 227, among them 103 children.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip by killing, starving, and displacing Palestinians, defying international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it.

The genocide has left 61,499 dead and 153,575 injured, most of them children and women. Over 11,000 people are missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and a famine that has claimed more than 210 lives.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
