News - Middle East:  Amid the escalating regional confrontation following the Zionist-American aggression on Gaza, Yemen continues to assert its position as an active player in the Axis of Resistance, demonstrating clear military and political commitment to supporting the Palestinian people.

This was confirmed by expert on Israeli affairs Nizar Nazzal in an interview with Almasirah TV, commenting on a statement released by the Yemeni Armed Forces on Thursday. He affirmed that Yemen remains firmly and resolutely committed to supporting the Gaza front and the Palestinian people for nearly 22 months, despite significant sacrifices caused by American and Zionist strikes and the blockade.

Nazzal added that some Hebrew-language newspapers have extensively covered Yemen’s stance, noting that Yemeni missile attacks on cities and sensitive sites within the Zionist entity have caused substantial economic damage, including the closure of more than 30 ships at sea, partial disruption of trade, and confusion within the Israeli government and security apparatus.

He explained that the central objective of these Yemeni operations is not merely to inflict material damage but to create a persistent sense of insecurity among settlers, forcing millions into shelters and disrupting daily, educational, and social life within the Zionist entity.

Nazzal also noted that recent statements by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister reveal the true intentions of the so-called “Greater Israel” project, rooted in a false expansionist religious ideology aiming to control a broader geography in the region, including Jordan and Egypt, beyond mere normalization or peace agreements.

He argued that this approach embarrasses Arab regimes that have normalized relations with Israel and calls for a unified Arab project to confront Zionist schemes. He warned that the next phase may witness further escalation, possibly opening additional fronts in Lebanon or elsewhere, raising questions about the Israeli army’s ability to fight on multiple fronts simultaneously.

Analysis of these developments indicates that Yemen, through its operational escalation, is not only providing immediate support to Gaza but also seeks to establish a new deterrence equation that unsettles the Zionist entity and links multiple fronts.
