In his speech Thursday, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi pointed out that the Israeli enemy continues its grave violations of its agreement with Lebanon without any regard for the international guarantors, considering the Zionist breaches in Lebanon as "aggression in every sense of the word."
He stated that "it is entirely natural and instinctive, within the scope of responsibility, for the Lebanese state and all its institutions to strive to halt the Israeli aggression, which poses a danger to Lebanon." He argued that the American proposal is not in Lebanon’s interest but rather a threat to it, aiming to incite internal strife and turn the Lebanese government’s role into that of a "policeman for the Israelis." He stressed that adopting the American proposal is not a free and responsible Lebanese decision but must always be viewed as an Israeli-American decision.
The leader also criticized Arab governments for their shameful weakness and swift compliance with American and Zionist pressures, asserting that American interests are harmful to the Ummah and that there are no shared interests with Israel—only exclusive benefits for it.
He explained that the Israeli enemy seeks to strip Lebanon of the only weapon that protects it, emphasizing that the Lebanese army will not defend Lebanon against the Israeli enemy and that no official political decision to confront the enemy will come from Lebanese authorities—a reality proven by facts.
Sayyed Abdulmalik affirmed that Lebanon’s interest lies in the resistance, which has proven successful over 40 years, and that it would be best for Lebanon if the resistance received official and popular support rather than being fought by factions loyal to the Israeli enemy.
He described Lebanon’s official policies as submissive to the Israeli enemy, complying with its dictates—a situation he called "shameful in every sense of the word." He stressed that the Israeli enemy aims to disarm Lebanon because it wants the country to remain vulnerable and eliminate the real obstacle in its path.
The leader emphasized that the problem is not with the resistance’s weapons, which protect Lebanon and defend its freedom, honor, and independence, but rather with the weapons in the hands of the Israeli enemy, which kills children and civilians, destroys homes, and plunders resources. He called for a unified stance across the Ummah’s peoples and governments against Israeli weaponry and arming the enemy.
He urged shouting in the face of all countries supplying weapons to the Israeli enemy, noting that this has had an impact on some Western nations. The announcement by certain countries, including Germany, to suspend arms shipments to the enemy came amid global outrage over Israeli crimes in Gaza.
The leader questioned: What if the Ummah—both officially and popularly—mobilized en masse, backed by political and economic measures? Such a movement would pressure Western societies. He stressed that the Israeli enemy’s possession of weapons is a threat to humanity and to global and regional security and stability.
He noted that the Lebanese government shows sensitivity toward expressions of solidarity with Lebanon, labeling those who support it militarily or politically as "interfering in Lebanese affairs," while responding with bold rhetoric. Meanwhile, it displays humiliating submission to Israeli crimes and aggression. He argued that what the U.S. and Israel are doing in Lebanon goes beyond mere interference—it is "occupation, violation, killing, and a complete breach of Lebanese sovereignty."
He added that some Lebanese officials display malice even toward Hezbollah, the resistance, and the Lebanese people, describing their adoption of Israeli logic and submission to Israeli dictates while posturing as sovereign against solidarity efforts as "despicable."
Addressing those who submit to Israeli dictates against their own people and freedom fighters, the leader said: "You are not sovereign." He asked: "If the Lebanese government is this submissive to the Americans and Israelis, how will it protect its people from Lebanon’s real enemy?" He affirmed that the enemy seeks to make the Lebanese accept the conspiracy because it is American and an Israeli demand—something that must be implemented without opposition.
In this context, the leader stressed that efforts to disarm nations and peoples of the weapons that protect them from the Israeli threat are "part of the Zionist scheme targeting our Ummah."
He explained that "the deluded, ungrateful, and traitorous portray the problem as lying in the weapons held by the Ummah’s free and honorable people," noting that "true sovereigns are those who defend their homelands and stand against aggression."
He emphasized that "the real problem lies in Israeli weapons and in disarming the Ummah of its means of defense," adding that "the Israelis and Americans have no issue with some of our people arming themselves to serve them and fight their enemies." He warned that "those who stir sectarian and regional strife serve the Israeli enemy," clarifying that "entrenching American and Israeli control over our Ummah leads to the loss of its freedom, independence, and vital interests."
Regarding governments, the leader affirmed that "the Lebanese government’s submission to Israeli and American orders is clear proof that it will not protect Lebanon," and that "the U.S., Israel, and Britain seek to turn our governments, armies, and security agencies into tools for executing their directives."
He criticized the Palestinian Authority’s role, stating that it "falls under the category of security coordination with the Israeli enemy," neither protecting its people nor defending their rights. It "actively and openly collaborates with the Israeli enemy against Palestinian freedom fighters and has participated in the killing and abduction of oppressed Palestinians."
He stressed that "America and Israel want all regional governments, armies, and security agencies to serve Zionism," and that "this functional role is a greater catastrophe for the Ummah than mere surrender." He added that "the U.S. and Israel seek to use governments, armies, security forces, and allied parties in our countries as tools against their own people and homelands," calling for resistance against "elites, media mouthpieces, and poisoned pens that spread lies in propaganda serving the Israeli enemy and targeting those who stand against it."
Sayyed Abdulmalik noted that the Israeli enemy conducts military patrols in southern Syria, sets up checkpoints, and raids homes, searching and harassing residents. The enemy’s actions in Syria exceed all agreements, proving practically that it does not want peace—only surrender.
