Iran Condemns New Zionist Aggression on Yemen
News - Yemen: The Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemned the new Zionist aggression targeting civilian facilities in Yemen.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmail Baghaei, said in a press conference: “We strongly condemn the Zionist entity’s targeting of areas in Yemen.”
Baghaei stressed that “the targeting of infrastructure constitutes a war crime.”
The latest aggression on Yemen comes amid the Israeli enemy’s faltering attempts to restore deterrence after sufferingع repeated missile and drone strikes from the Yemeni Armed Forces in response to the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Since October 2023, Yemeni operations have reached deep into Israeli enemy territory and targeted maritime and military assets linked to both Israel and the United States. These strikes have disrupted enemy logistics and challenged its narrative of superiority.
Regional observers note that Israel’s expansion of the warfront to Yemen marks an escalation aimed at pressuring the resistance axis, yet the outcome has instead underscored Yemen’s growing influence and steadfast support for the Palestinian cause.
