News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces carried out qualitative military operations deep inside the occupied Zionist territories, worsening the air blockade and the enemy’s internal situation.

In a statement, Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e announced a “qualitative military operation targeting Lod Airport in the occupied Jaffa area with a hypersonic ballistic missile of the Palestine-2 type,” which successfully hit its target after penetrating the Israeli defense systems.

The operation caused major confusion among Israeli forces, forcing millions of settlers into shelters and suspending airport operations.

Additionally, the Air Force conducted two drone strikes targeting one military and one vital site in Jaffa and Ashkelon in occupied Palestine, achieving both objectives successfully.

The statement expressed Yemen’s appreciation for the heroism and sacrifices of the steadfast fighters in Gaza, who set a remarkable example in standing against the enemies of the nation, defending its honor and dignity, and rejecting occupation and expansion schemes.

Finally, the Yemeni Armed Forces affirmed that Yemen, with its loyal people, fighting army, and faithful leadership, stands with Gaza until the aggression ends and the siege is lifted.

Since late 2023, Yemen’s Armed Forces have dramatically escalated their military operations in response to the Israeli enemy's war on Gaza and the broader US.-British support for it. As part of their declared solidarity with the Palestinian people, Yemen has launched a sustained campaign targeting Israel-linked ships in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, and beyond—expanding its strategy to include aerial and maritime blockades on the Israeli entity.

Yemen’s increasing use of ballistic and hypersonic missiles, along with advanced drones, has shifted the balance of power in regional waters, creating serious concern within US and Israeli defense establishments. Analysts now describe the conflict as one of the most significant maritime confrontations since World War II, with implications far beyond the Red Sea.

The reported retreat of US forces following direct threats to its carriers  represent a major strategic and symbolic victory for Yemen and a major embarrassment for Washington, particularly under the leadership of Donald Trump, whose administration had vowed to maintain dominance in the region.
