News – Yemen: Mohammed Al-Farrah, member of Ansarullah’s Political Bureau, condemned Sunday’s Zionist enemy airstrikes on the Yemeni capital Sana’a, saying the attacks deliberately targeted civilian and service facilities.

Al-Farrah said the raids mirrored Israel’s conduct in Gaza, accusing the Israeli enemy of striking non-military infrastructure and inflicting civilian casualties. 

He noted that these airstrikes reflect the pain inflicted on the enemy by Yemeni missiles and drones and confirm that Yemen’s strikes successfully hit their targets inside the entity.

He added that the aggression against Yemen is part of a wider campaign that also encompasses Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria, and reiterated Yemen’s firm support for the Palestinian people until the war ends and the blockade is lifted.

“We stress to the entire international community that ignoring and turning a blind eye to the Zionist enemy’s crimes fosters a culture of defiance against internationally recognized charters and laws that respect sovereignty and affirm the right to independence,” he concluded.

According to local reports, Israeli enemy warplanes struck a Yemen Oil Company station on Al-Sittin Street and the Hiziz power station south of Sana’a, causing damage and casualties.

The airstrikes on Sana’a came a day after Israeli media reported growing concern over Yemen’s advancing missile capabilities. Israeli outlets cited air force sources saying Yemen may have used a multiple-warhead ballistic missile for the first time, a development that could challenge Israel’s missile defense systems.

Since late 2023, Yemen has intensified operations in response to the Israeli enemy’s war on Gaza, combining a naval blockade of Israel-linked shipping in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden with long-range missile and drone strikes deep inside occupied territories. The latest escalation, including hypersonic and suspected multiple-warhead missiles, has amplified pressure on Israel’s security establishment and provoked retaliatory strikes on Yemen.
