News - Yemen: The head of Yemen’s Saba News Agency, Nasr al-Din Amer, affirmed that Yemen will maintain its unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their just cause, emphasizing that Yemeni operations will continue as long as the aggression and siege on Gaza persist.

Amer stated that the recent strikes on the Oil Company station and the electricity station in Sana’a were part of Israeli attempts to create a media spectacle aimed at shaping public perception. However, he stressed that the intended image only served as evidence of Israel’s significant failure.

“Defense operations continue, and the morale of the Yemeni people will remain unaffected by such aggressive airstrikes,” Amer added.

He confirmed that Yemen is engaged in a sustained campaign in response to the Israeli aggression on Gaza and the unjust siege imposed on it, and stressed that Yemen’s position will not waver even if Israeli attacks on Yemen cease.

Amer also noted that Israeli statements claiming the end of airstrikes in Yemen are merely an attempt to evade responsibility for the catastrophic consequences of this aggression in the eyes of the international community.

The airstrikes on Sana’a came a day after Israeli media reported growing concern over Yemen’s advancing missile capabilities. Israeli outlets cited air force sources saying Yemen may have used a multiple-warhead ballistic missile for the first time, a development that could challenge Israel’s missile defense systems.

Since late 2023, Yemen has intensified operations in response to the Israeli enemy’s war on Gaza, combining a naval blockade of Israel-linked shipping in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden with long-range missile and drone strikes deep inside occupied territories. The latest escalation, including hypersonic and suspected multiple-warhead missiles, has amplified pressure on Israel’s security establishment and provoked retaliatory strikes on Yemen.
