News – Yemen: Yemen’s military operations against Israel are complicating US naval logistics and reshaping regional dynamics, according to strategic affairs expert Mohammed Huzaymah.

In remarks to local media, Huzaymah said the US Navy’s widely reported difficulties in resupplying its warships stem directly from Yemeni Armed Forces operations in the Red Sea and beyond. He argued these actions have imposed a “new strategic equation” that extends Yemen’s influence beyond its borders and unsettles both Washington and Tel Aviv.

“Despite destruction on the ground, the US has lost its image and leverage, while the Israeli entity faces confusion and fear,” Huzaymah said. He added that Yemeni advances in weapons development — including cluster ballistic missiles — have narrowed the military gap with the Israeli entity and introduced “a turning point in managing the conflict.”

Huzaymah described Washington as acting as a contractor for regional allies, while Yemen’s role has bolstered the standing of the Axis of Resistance. He said Yemen’s readiness, leadership, and geostrategic position make it resilient to foreign pressure, with each successful strike reinforcing the resistance bloc’s position.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out missile and drone operations in the Red Sea and against Israeli targets since November 2023. They say their actions are in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza and will continue until the Israeli blockade is lifted.

The Israeli enemy, backed by the US, has conducted repeated airstrikes on Yemen in response. Meanwhile, Gaza’s health ministry reports that since October 2023, Israeli enemy attacks on Gaza have killed more than 62,700 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured over 158,000 others.
