News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a precision military operation targeting Lod Airport in the occupied Jaffa region.

In a statement released, The Armed Forces said the strike employed a hypersonic ballistic missile of the Palestine-2 type. 

The operation was conducted in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their resistance, and in retaliation for what they described as acts of genocide and starvation committed by Israel against civilians in the Gaza Strip, the statement said.

It added that the operation successfully achieved its objectives, causing millions of Israeli usurpers to seek shelter and temporarily halting airport activity.

The Yemeni military emphasized that Yemen stands honorably in defending the Palestinian people and will not abandon this stance regardless of the challenges and consequences involved.

Earlier Hebrew media reported early Wednesday that a missile launched from Yemen reached occupied Palestinian territories, sparking alarm and disruption.

The missile alert triggered sirens across several areas, particularly in towns surrounding Al-Quds, sending thousands of residents rushing to shelters. No casualties were reported, according to Israel’s Magen David Adom emergency service.

Yemeni Armed Forces have repeatedly declared that their operations form part of support for the Palestinian people in Gaza. The arrival of this latest missile, despite Israeli defense measures, was cited as further evidence of Yemen’s enhanced missile capabilities and the ongoing failure of Israel’s deterrence strategy.

The Israeli enemy has faced repeated missile and drone attacks attributed to Yemen in recent months, exposing vulnerabilities in its defense systems. The latest incident underscores the growing ability of Yemeni forces to disrupt critical Israeli infrastructure, while tying their operations to continued aggression on Gaza.
