News – Yemen: Chief of the General Staff, Major General Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari, warned that the Israeli enemy’s targeting of civilian neighborhoods in Sana’a will not go unpunished.

In remarks carried by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA)on Friday, Al-Ghamari stressed that Yemen’s stance remains firm in supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza, regardless of the scale of aggression or sacrifices required.

“The Israeli escalation in Gaza or against Yemen is not a sign of strength, but rather a clear admission of failure in achieving its goals over nearly two years. This escalation will be met with escalation, Allah willing,” he affirmed.

Al-Ghamari hailed the steadfastness of Gaza’s residents and the resilience of the Palestinian resistance, noting their determination to inflict heavy losses on the enemy despite its intensified assaults on Gaza City.

He also commended the Yemeni people, who have continued to take to the streets in their millions over the past two years to declare unwavering solidarity with Gaza, demonstrating loyalty and endurance without faltering.

The statement comes amid heightened Israeli enemy aggression, including recent airstrikes on the Yemeni capital Sana’a following intensified attacks on the Gaza Strip. Yemeni officials confirmed that the strikes deliberately targeted civilian neighborhoods. Meanwhile, Israeli enemy media outlets claimed—without evidence—that the attack was aimed at a gathering of senior Yemeni military leaders, including the Chief of Staff himself, while they were watching a televised address by Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.

Yemen has repeatedly affirmed that its operations in the Red Sea and beyond are part of a broader strategy to pressure the Israeli entity and support the Palestinian cause.
