Yemeni Leaders Condemn Israeli Enemy Aggression on Sana’a, Vow Continued Resistance

Yemeni Leaders Condemn Israeli Enemy Aggression on Sana’a, Vow Continued Resistance

News - Yemen: The Israeli enemy’s airstrikes on the Yemeni capital Sana’a last Thursday claimed the lives of Prime Minister Ahmad Ghalib Al-Rahwi and several ministers.

The attack has drawn widespread condemnation across Yemen’s political and social spectrum, with leaders emphasizing that the blood of the martyrs will fuel further resistance against the Israeli entity and its allies.

Southern Leaders: Joy Over Sana’a Attack a Betrayal of Yemeni Identity

Major General Faisal Rajab, a senior figure from the southern governorates, condemned those celebrating the Israeli enemy’s crime in Sana’a. Writing on his X account, Rajab stressed that “anyone who rejoices over what happened in Sana’a must review his faith and Yemeni identity.”

He warned that history will record disgrace against those who express happiness at the targeting of Yemenis, affirming that aggression against any Yemeni remains unacceptable despite political differences.

Nasserite Organization: Martyrs’ Blood a Torch for Liberation

The Nasserite Popular Correction Organization mourned the Prime Minister and his fellow ministers, describing their loss as a heavy national blow.

In its statement, the group stressed that the fallen leaders’ blood will serve as “fuel for the struggle and jihad against the Zionist enemy” and reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause.
The statement underlined that Yemeni institutions will continue their duties with determination, honoring the martyrs’ sacrifices. It reiterated support for Gaza against the genocide and displacement imposed by the Israeli entity.

Judiciary: Crime Is State Terrorism Under International Law

Judge Abdulwahhab Al-Mahbashi, a member of the Supreme Judicial Council, described the Israeli enemy’s assassination of civilian government leaders as “state terrorism” under international law.

He explained that targeting openly functioning civilian officials has no military value and violates international legal norms.

Al-Mahbashi noted that Yemen swiftly filled the governmental gap by appointing acting ministers, ensuring continuity of national institutions.

Ansarullah: Yemeni Blood Strengthens Resistance and Honors Palestine

Dhaifallah Al-Shami, member of Ansarullah’s Political Bureau, emphasized that the Yemeni people’s sacrifices—including the assassination of President Saleh Al-Sammad in 2018—only reinforce their strength and resilience.

He accused the Israeli enemy of resorting to civilian massacres after failing to neutralize Yemen’s missile, drone, and naval capabilities.

Al-Shami stressed that Yemeni martyrs’ sacrifices are not only for Yemen but also for Palestine: “If Yemen cannot deliver water to Gaza, it has delivered blood in defense of its people and dignity.”

He declared that Yemenis take pride in presenting their leaders as martyrs for Palestine’s cause, affirming that the government targeted in Sana’a represented the entire Yemeni nation.

Al-Shami concluded that the Israeli enemy will ultimately face defeat, while Yemenis grow more determined: “The martyrs’ blood will ignite millions to rise, and the coming weeks will witness an even greater mobilization.”

The Israeli enemy’s airstrike on Thursday targeted a government meeting in the Yemeni capital Sana’a, killing Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahwi and several ministers of the Government. The assassination marks a sharp escalation in Israel’s war on Yemen, which has intensified since Yemen’s entry into the Gaza battle through missile and drone strikes, maritime blockades, and direct military operations that disrupted Israeli ports and air travel.

Analysts say the crime reveals the Israeli entity’s frustration at its failure to halt Yemen’s escalating attacks and its growing role in reshaping the regional balance of power.
