News - Middle East: At least 34 Palestinians were killed and dozens wounded on Monday in a series of Israeli enemy airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, now in its 696th day under attack, according to medical and local sources.

Nineteen of the fatalities were reported in Gaza City. Among the dead was Ahlam Raed Faiz al-Shaer, a woman shot by Israeli enemy forces in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis. Several children were also among the victims.

The strikes targeted multiple residential areas, including a home near the Abu Murad family residence in al-Shati refugee camp, a building on al-Nafaq Street in northern Gaza, and houses in the Sheikh Radwan and al-Zaytoun neighborhoods, leaving entire families killed or injured.

In Khan Younis, Israeli enemy forces struck the town of Bani Suhaila, where three bodies were recovered, while additional casualties were reported in air raids on central and southern Gaza.

Al-Awda Hospital said it had received 11 bodies and 18 wounded, including women and children, after Israeli enemy troops shelled crowds gathered near a humanitarian aid distribution point in southern Wadi Gaza.

The death toll in Gaza continues to rise daily amid the Israeli enemy’s prolonged offensive, which has displaced most of the enclave’s population and left widespread destruction of homes, infrastructure, and basic services.
