News - Yemen: Yemen’s Armed Forces said Tuesday they carried out a series of major operations against the Israeli enemy, hitting military, economic, and maritime targets with drones and a cruise missile.

According to a military statement, the Air Force conducted four separate operations using Samad-4 and other drones, striking the General Staff building in Jaffa, the Hadera power station, Lod Airport, and Ashdod Port. The statement confirmed that all targets were hit successfully.

In a separate joint operation, the Air Force and Rocketry Force struck the container ship MSC ABY in the northern Red Sea with two drones and a cruise missile, accusing the vessel of violating Yemen’s ban on Israeli enemy shipping to occupied Palestinian ports. The Armed Forces said the ship sustained a direct hit.

The statement added that the operations coincided with the commemoration of the Prophet’s Birthday, describing them as part of Yemen’s sacred duty of jihad and continued support for the oppressed people of Gaza, who face ongoing bombardment, siege, and starvation by the Israeli enemy.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have intensified long-range drone and missile attacks against Israeli enemy military, economic, and maritime targets since the war on Gaza began, expanding operations into both the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea to enforce a ban on Israeli-linked shipping. 

The reference to the Prophet’s Birthday in Tuesday’s statement indicates that these latest operations were not yet the formal response to the Israeli enemy’s airstrikes on Sana’a, which killed Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahwi and several ministers on Sunday.
