News - Middle East: Alarm sirens blared across several areas of the occupied Palestinian territories on Wednesday morning as the airspace over the Zionist entity’s Lod (Ben Gurion) Airport was closed following the launch of a Yemeni missile.

Hebrew-language media cited the Israeli enemy’s army as confirming the launch of a ballistic missile from Yemen targeting the occupied lands. The so-called “Israeli Home Front Command” reported that sirens sounded across wide areas of the territory.

Channel 12 of the Zionist entity reported that millions of settlers rushed to shelters following the air raid alerts. The closure of Lod Airport also affected flights, including Delta Airlines’ service from New York, which had resumed only yesterday.

Yemen’s Armed Forces have maintained a ban on aviation over Lod Airport since May 4, in addition to imposing a naval blockade on ports including Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat), Ashdod, and Haifa. These measures are part of Yemen’s operations in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza, who have endured nearly 23 months of ongoing genocide by the Zionist entity.
