According to the newspaper, the Zionist entity’s air force acknowledges the difficulty of decisively winning the battle and admits it cannot eliminate Yemen’s extensive missile arsenal.
The Independent notes that the Zionist entity’s population has woken up to a “full-scale war atmosphere,” reminiscent of the period following attacks on Iran, when political and security leaderships were ordered to return to bunkers established during the initial Al-Aqsa Flood operations.
This move comes amid security reports warning of the potential for a “simultaneous heavy missile launch” against the Zionist entity as direct retaliation for its aggression in Yemen and Gaza.
Assessments indicate that achieving a decisive victory over Yemen poses a significant challenge, largely due to Yemen’s strategy of concealing missiles in underground, hard-to-reach locations. Despite these difficulties, the Zionist entity’s Defense Minister Yisrael Katz has continued to escalate actions toward Yemen, diminishing prospects for a near-term prisoner exchange and fueling internal unrest.
Tensions are not limited to Yemen. In northern areas of the Zionist entity, residents reported hearing “massive explosions, the largest since the ceasefire agreement,” which the Israeli enemy claims targeted underground facilities and tunnels, alleging Hezbollah is enhancing its military capabilities.
In Gaza, The Independent reports that the Zionist entity’s army is preparing for a response from Hamas following an operation targeting the spokesperson of Hamas’s military wing, Abu Ubaida. While the Zionist entity claims the operation involved “direct intelligence oversight” and assistance from “agents,” Gaza residents say it struck a densely populated residential building, resulting in dozens of casualties. Hamas has described it as a “full-scale war crime.”
In anticipation of potential Yemeni retaliation, the Zionist entity’s leadership has reportedly directed its Air Defense Forces to reprioritize and deploy advanced defense systems, including Iron Dome and the US-made THAAD, as security estimates suggest the next strike could be particularly severe.
This escalation comes after the Zionist entity’s recent military operations in Yemen, targeting government leaders and strategic locations. Yemen’s missile capabilities, reinforced by underground storage and mobile deployment, continue to challenge the Israeli enemy’s military assumptions, raising concerns over a protracted confrontation that could destabilize multiple fronts, including Gaza and northern borders.
