News - Yemen: Yemeni Defense Minister Major General Mohammed Al-Atifi and Chief of Staff Major General Mohammed Al-Ghamari congratulated President Mahdi Al-Mashat on the anniversary of the Prophet’s birth, emphasizing that the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad are not merely stories of the past but a guiding constitution for jihad and sacrifice.

Speaking on Thursday, both officials described the current phase confronting Yemen and the Muslim world as a decisive battle between truth and falsehood. They stressed that, with Allah's support and out of religious and national duty, Yemen has prepared a resolute army ready to confront any hostile aggressor.

Al-Atifi and Al-Ghamari reiterated Yemen’s unwavering position on supporting its people and the Palestinian cause, affirming that sacrifices will not alter its commitment to the struggle for justice in Gaza. Regarding the martyrs of the government, they declared: “The blood of our martyrs will not go to waste; every drop will ignite a fire in the flanks of the aggressor.” They warned that the Zionist entity faces a generation raised on the Quran and nurtured on the love of martyrdom.

The defense leaders concluded by assuring President Al-Mashat that Yemen remains on the path outlined by Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badreddin Al-Houthi and that the banner of “Allahu Akbar” will continue to fly over Yemen and the sacred sites of the Ummah, regardless of the sacrifices required.

Yemen has escalated its military posture against the Zionist entity and reaffirmed active support for the Palestinian people in Gaza, particularly following the assassination of Yemeni leaders and ongoing Israeli aggression. Military analysts note that statements from Yemen’s top defense officials signal both a continuation of asymmetric operations against the enemy and a strategic assertion of Yemen’s role in the regional resistance equation.
