Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi characterized Wednesday's strikes on targets in Sana'a and al-Jawf provinces not as a military achievement for Israel but as an act of "bankruptcy and criminality." He accused Israeli forces of deliberately targeting media institutions in crowded civilian areas, alleging a broader intent to harm civilians.
"The sacrifices we offer are far less than the losses we would incur if we were in another direction and another choice [ normalizing relations with Israel]," Sayyed Abdulmalik stated, framing the conflict as a necessary religious and moral duty to support the Palestinians.
He ruled out alternatives to the current confrontation, describing them as tantamount to surrender and submission, which he emphasized that the Yemeni people would never accept due to their faith.
The leader sharply criticized international and regional organizations, including the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Arab League, for their perceived inaction. He declared that reliance on God, not these bodies, was the only path to success.
The leader detailed military operations claimed by Yemeni forces over the past week, stating they had conducted 38 operations using missiles and drones. He specified 23 drone attacks targeting sites in Israeli cities, including Haifa, Jaffa, Ashdod, Ashkelon, the Negev, and Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat), notably claiming a successful strike on Ramon Airport.
He also mentioned two operations against what he described as Israeli-affiliated commercial ships in the northern Red Sea.
Separately, Sayyed Abdulmalik called for a mass million-person protest in Sana'a and other provinces on Friday. He urged Yemenis to answer a call from Hamas's armed wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, for widespread prayers in the middle of the night to seek divine intervention for Gaza.
Positioning the conflict within a wider ideological struggle, the leader argued that the Muslim world is suffering from a loss of vision and moral weakness, not a lack of resources. He presented "Jihad" as the essential means for spiritual, educational, and civilizational rebuilding of the nation, saving it from its current state of humiliation.
He condemned any negotiation or peace process with the United States, which he labeled a "Zionist entity" and a "sponsor of peace in name only," calling such a path a catastrophic form of surrender.
He urged Yemenis to study the Quran and the prophetic tradition to understand the nature of the conflict with their enemies and to continue religious and educational activities under the theme "Guidance from the Quran to confront the Jews.
Yemen is engaged in a military campaign against Israel and international shipping in the Red Sea, stating its actions are in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza amidst the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on Gaza.
