News - Yemen: In a speech addressing developments in Gaza and the region, the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, stated that Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and the Lebanese "Resistance" have played the fundamental role in protecting the entire region from the American-Zionist project.

The leader affirmed that the "American failure in the 2006 aggression was delayed due to the protection and deterrence resulting from Hezbollah's stance and its great victory," positioning the group as a bulwark for the nation while some Arab regimes continued their "intensive conspiracies" with Israel.

Paying tribute to the late Hezbollah leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik described Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah as a "martyr for Islam and for humanity in the fullest sense of the words," who was a "common target for enemies and conspirators." He indicated that significant preparations are underway by the Resistance in Lebanon to mark the first anniversary of Sayyed Nasrallah's martyrdom, an event his movement would also commemorate.

Shifting to current events, the leader accused the Israeli enemy and its partners of "revealing their Zionist schemes to the nation with full clarity." He alleged that some officials within the Lebanese government "appear from their rhetoric to be acting as clear, official, and overt agents for the enemy."

He detailed ongoing Israeli aggressions in Lebanon, including airstrikes, civilian targeting, a "massacre against a family in Bint Jbeil," and the burning of woodlands in border areas. He asserted that Israel's continued shelling and demolition of houses in border villages "completely violates its agreements with the Lebanese state."

The leader strongly criticized the Lebanese government's response as "not on par with the Israeli violations," which he said constitute attacks on the Lebanese people and a breach of sovereignty. He described the government's positions as "subservient, compliant, and weak," falling far short of its responsibilities and amounting to implementing the dictates of the Israeli and American enemies.

He warned against the "foolish direction of the Lebanese government towards Hezbollah," stating it would "never protect Lebanon or its sovereignty." He asserted that the government is providing a "free service to the Israeli enemy" that yields no benefit for Lebanon.

He concluded that international community is a "losing bet," and would not offer any meaningful support for Palestine, Gaza, Syria, or Lebanon. He characterized the Lebanese reaction to recent statements by the American envoy as "astonishing" and a "confirmation of the equation of submission and violation."
