News - Yemen: Yemen’s Foreign Ministry condemned the latest attack by the Zionist entity on civilian neighborhoods in Sana'a, declaring it a “full-fledged war crime” and vowing that Yemen will continue to deliver painful responses to the Israeli enemy.

In a statement issued late Thursday, the ministry said the Israeli enemy’s bombardment of residential districts in Sana'a, which killed and wounded dozens of civilians, constituted a blatant violation of international law, conventions, and norms.

The ministry accused the Zionist entity of targeting civilians and infrastructure after failing to achieve any tangible battlefield success, describing the strikes as a desperate attempt to claim a false victory and respond to Yemen’s precision operations.

It praised the stance of several countries that condemned the ongoing aggression, while urging others to break their silence, assume their legal and humanitarian responsibilities, and exert pressure on the Israeli enemy to halt its attacks on Yemen.

The ministry stressed that continued aggression will only strengthen Yemen’s resolve to support the Palestinian cause and stand by Gaza, regardless of the cost or sacrifices.

The latest Israeli strikes on Sana'a left at least nine people dead and 174 injured, according to the Yemeni Health Ministry. The bombardment hit the Dhahban power station and several residential neighborhoods, damaging homes and civilian infrastructure. 

Yemeni authorities condemned the attacks as war crimes and dismissed Israeli claims of targeting military facilities, insisting only civilian sites were struck. The escalation comes in response to recent long-range Yemeni missile and drone operations against targets deep inside the Israeli enemy, which have highlighted Yemen’s growing role in the regional confrontation.
