Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi Speaks on Latest Developments, in English (Oct 2, 2025)

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.

O Allah! Confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.

Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

With nearly two full years having passed and following the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, with global outrage at its peak, the Israeli enemy continues its genocide against the Palestinian people, committing the most brutal and atrocious crimes. It does so through American partnership and support and through the dreadful inaction of the Arab and Islamic world, which has emboldened the Israeli enemy to continue its crimes.

This week alone, the toll exceeded two thousand five hundred killed and wounded, most of them women and children. The Israeli enemy targeted the displaced and likewise attacked the hundreds of thousands of residents who remain in besieged neighbourhoods inside Gaza City. It kills everyone through air strikes, vehicle-borne bombs laden with tonnes of explosives, sniper attacks, and shells, using every form of targeting. In addition, it relentlessly uses starvation as a means of extermination, with new lives claimed every day. The enemy also targets those awaiting aid in deadly traps set up in partnership with the Americans, turning humanitarian relief into another means of extermination against the Palestinian people.

It continues to destroy what remains of the towers and homes on a large scale, seeking to wipe out every residential neighbourhood in the Gaza Strip, so that no place remains habitable. It persists in every kind of crime.

It continues the forced displacement of the Palestinian people into unsafe areas it calls 'safe', only to then target those who have fled there. These places have no conditions for life, lacking even the most basic necessities required for human survival. As a result, we see thousands of Palestinians in the open, without any shelter and without access to even the bare minimum needed for life.

The children of Gaza are either martyred, starving, terrified, or living under constant threat of bombing and targeting. Every child in Gaza faces this grim reality.

The Israeli enemy openly boasts and parades scenes of targeting and terrorising children and women. Its methods of attacking civilians, including women and children, are characterised by brutality, baseness, and criminality. These methods reveal that the Israeli enemy finds delight in its crimes and takes pride in its violence against women and children. This is the reality in Gaza.

These daily scenes are accessible to all people across the world, and each one of them is powerful enough to stir the human conscience, awaken compassion, and revive a sense of duty in anyone with any humanity left. They speak louder than any words, have more impact than any lecture, and are truly beyond description. It is vital, therefore, for everyone to witness what is happening there. Watching these scenes profoundly affects the heart, reigniting a sense of responsibility and making clear the need to take a stand; as for ignoring or turning away from what is happening in Gaza—from the suffering of the Palestinian people and the crimes of the Zionist Jews—it conflicts with one's sense of humanity and justice and signifies a denial of serious realities in our region and our Ummah. These realities are of consequences on our lives and therefore place responsibilities upon us, whether we admit that or not. Neglect and ignorance do not absolve us from responsibility, nor do they shield us from the consequences; instead, they bring about further harm.

Therefore, continuing to follow developments with genuine concern and from a principled position is extremely important for raising awareness, strengthening the sense of responsibility, and deepening people's engagement.

One cannot remain unmoved when witnessing children and women martyred or wounded, their bodies drenched in blood, crying out and pleading with this Ummah and humanity as a whole. There are deeply varied scenes that express victimhood in its utmost form and expose the Zionist Jewish criminality, which reveals the true nature of the Zionist Jewish enemy and the backgrounds that shape its agenda and produce criminals. Indeed, their cultural, ideological, and intellectual backgrounds create savage criminals at the worst level of barbarity and criminality, wholly estranged from human nature, entirely at odds with noble morals and with the natural disposition of mankind.

With regard to the Al-Aqsa Mosque (the great and sacred Islamic landmark), the Zionist aggressors continue to violate its sanctity on a constant basis. In recent days, their transgressions have intensified in conjunction with the Hebrew New Year. Among the rituals they carried out in their desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque was the blowing of the hornan act, though rooted in false Jewish traditions, bears symbolic significance in what they are doing.

They also continue all forms of aggression against the Palestinian people in the West Bank: acts of killing, the destruction and seizure of homes, the confiscation of land, and the burning of agricultural crops. They intensify their assaults even against Palestinian Bedouins, in the areas where they reside and move about, attacking them and their livestock through every conceivable form of violence.

They also continue carrying out acts of displacement in the West Bank, targeting those they have driven out from the camps of Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams. As part of their operations aimed at altering the demographic composition of the West Bank, they persist in the confiscation and annexation of land, committing all forms of aggression, with abductions carried out on an intensified scale. The torture and persecution of captives continues. Moreover, the Israeli enemy has moved to legitimise these crimes: The so-called 'National Security Committee' in the Knesset has recently approved a draft law calling for the execution of Palestinian captives.

In its brutal criminality, the Israeli enemy already kills captives, with many Palestinian captives martyred under torture. Yet this is not enough; instead, it seeks to formalise such crimes through what it calls 'laws', in clear defiance of all laws, norms, and international conventions. This is part of its consistent pattern of criminality, savagery, and tyranny—much like its so-called 'laws' enabling land theft and house demolitions. This cannot legitimise its crimes. A crime cannot be rendered lawful by legislation; even when given the name of a law, a crime cannot be lawful. Crime remains crime, aggression remains aggression, and usurpation remains usurpation. Injustice, criminality, and tyranny cannot be legitimised, nor can they be cloaked in legal cover, no matter what form or title is assigned.

This week, Trump and Netanyahu—the two criminals—made a joint announcement of what is named as the 'Trump Plan'. An earlier announcement of this very plan had already disclosed some of its provisions and key points. Later, when the criminal Netanyahu visited the criminal Trump—his American partner in all his crimes committed against the Palestinian people—the plan was presented to him for further amendments, ensuring that it would fulfil every Israeli demand and objective. The plan involves the confiscation of established, legitimate rights that are recognised around the world. They seek to strip the Palestinians of their rightful claim to the Gaza Strip.

Thus, the plan contains no provision that calls for maintaining Palestinian sovereignty over Gaza. Instead, they want to create a new administrative body—composed of Americans, Britons, and others—to take administrative control over Gaza. They did not even consider the Palestinian Authority for this role or recognise the Palestinian state, not even in the limited form acknowledged by some Western countries. Despite widespread international recognition by most nations, they deny all of this. They are trying to transform Gaza into an open zone, stripped of resistance, jihad, and every effort to reclaim Palestinian rights. The plan even includes provisions for the disarmament of the resistance and the expulsion of mujahidin from Gaza, among other measures.

Why have the Americans and the Israelis adopted this course? It is because the global outcry and mounting indignation over the brutality, aggression, and acts of genocide against the Palestinian people by the Israeli enemy—hand in hand with the Americans—has reached its height. This was evident even at the 80th session of the United Nations, where the sheer scale of outrage made itself felt even among the official delegations—governments and regimes that are usually far less responsive or sympathetic than their populations to the plight of the Palestinians. Yet the magnitude of Zionist criminality, carried out with American partnership in Gaza—the crime of the century—has reached shocking, horrific levels that represent a stain on all of humanity. It has come to the point where many leaders and prominent figures across the world are speaking this way about what the Israeli enemy is committing there:

  • Genocide that involves the starvation of infants and children of all ages, collectively targeting more than two million people in Gaza.
  • The direct extermination of 11% of Gaza's population so far.
  • Indiscriminate and comprehensive bombardment of civilians in Gaza.
  • The comprehensive destruction of residential areas.
  • Deliberate deprivation of water.

These Israeli crimes, witnessed by people worldwide, have reached such an extent that even governments and regimes are embarrassed not to voice protest in order to express their peoples' outrage at the scale of this criminality and tyranny and to demonstrate solidarity with the Palestinian people, who are suffering an injustice without precedent. This is so manifest that even the governments most closely allied with the Israeli enemy—including European governments and some of the longest-standing, such as Britain, whose historical role in enabling the Zionist occupation of Palestine is well known, as well as France and Germany—have found themselves obliged, if only symbolically, to recognise the Palestinian state and to express disapproval of Israeli oppression and Zionist crimes. If such is the situation among regimes with the closest ties to Israel, what, then, of the rest of the world?

Governments worldwide are facing persistent and mounting pressure in support of the Palestinian people because of this global outcry and the momentous, tireless activism of people of conscience—both elites and ordinary citizens alike—in Europe, America, Australia, and across the world. In some countries, this movement is intensifying, taking various forms of protest and activism. For instance, in Italy, there have been efforts led by port workers and unions to prevent the export of any weapons, fuel, or supplies that could aid Israel's crimes against the Palestinian people. Continuous demonstrations and diverse grassroots activities have even led some countries to issue decisions banning the criminal Netanyahu from entering their territories. These escalating forms of popular mobilisation have significantly embarrassed governments, regimes, and leaders, sometimes compelling them to adopt political or diplomatic positions to differing extents.

With that said, how do the Americans attempt to sidestep all this? Since the onset of Israel's brutal aggression against Gaza, America has relied on evasion as a main tactic. At the height of global outcry—when America's reputation and influence are under threat, and fears grow that protest could turn into concrete action—it responds by taking measures that give the appearance of solutions or of concern for Palestinian suffering and aid. In reality, however, these measures often serve only as another means of targeting the Palestinian people, delivered in a manner that is brazen, contemptible, and deeply offensive.

We all remember the so-called 'floating pier', announced when the crisis of starvation in Gaza reached a level that triggered an international outcry: The Palestinian people were starving before the eyes of the world, while aid was being deliberately blocked. At that point—not so long ago—America put forward the idea of a maritime bridge to deliver aid to the people of Gaza. This move clearly served American interests and objectives, while at the same time allowing America to present itself as if it were desperately looking for some highly unusual solution—its so-called 'maritime bridge'—as if it were impossible to get aid through by land. It soon became clear to the world, however, that this was nothing but a form of deception intended to mislead people, with no real practical value. The Americans were never truly serious about using it as a real means of delivering food to the Palestinian people. In the end, the effect of this ploy faded away, and this deceptive initiative became just one more way of targeting the Palestinians.

After that, conditions in Gaza became truly catastrophic, as it suffered a total famine, with daily cases of martyrdom among the Palestinian people. That humanitarian disaster drew global outrage, and demonstrations erupted around the world, with people of every faith and background expressing their outrage. At that point, America promoted the so-called 'Gaza Humanitarian Foundation'—a name designed to sound compassionate but in reality deeply deceptive, purporting to provide aid to Palestinians in Gaza. It soon became apparent to the world that this was yet another tool for killing, degrading, torturing, and oppressing the Palestinian people. That initiative turned out to be a death trap, with people everywhere calling it such. Even some Americans serving as security personnel in these death-trap centres admitted to carrying out acts of murder and targeting children, women, the elderly, and the young. Documented video footage has shown the extent of the crimes committed against starving, oppressed Palestinians as they waited for aid. The Americans continue down this path—one of torture, evasion, and deception—using misleading labels that never fail to serve the Israeli enemy within the framework of the American-Israeli partnership and to target the Palestinian people in every way possible. They target the just cause of the Palestinian people, their legitimate and widely-recognised rights, and their very lives, subjecting them to death, violence, injustice, oppression, and every form of suffering. This is the American way.

Thus, the Americans moved to sidestep global outrage through considerable deception, seeking to mislead the world and, at the same time, provide cover for those wishing to take a negative position towards the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian mujahidin in Gaza. What the Americans presented openly adopted Israeli demands and objectives, and Trump even boasted about this fact! As noted, the plan was passed to Netanyahu for further amendments, until it became, for all practical purposes, an Israeli plan. Netanyahu himself admitted that the plan contained everything Israel was seeking in Gaza, stating he would obtain these goals either the easy way or the hard way—that is, through further extermination.

In his follow-up remarks after meeting Netanyahu, Trump openly framed his plan as an act of service to Israel, recalling previous steps he had taken for Israel's benefit, including his recognition of Al-Quds as Israel's capital and the relocation of the US embassy there. He claimed that no previous American president had dared to make such a move. While past presidents had promised to offer recognition or even declared recognition, none had actually moved the embassy to Al-Quds. Trump did so in order to transform this position into an established reality, treating Al-Quds as the capital of Israel.

This move stands as one of the most dangerous, egregious, reprehensible, and unjust acts committed by Trump against the Palestinian cause and the Muslim Ummah as a whole, considering the significance of Al-Quds for Muslims and the status of the Al-Aqsa Mosque as one of our holiest Islamic sites. Nevertheless, he takes pride in this, asserting that it serves the same purpose.

He also boasted of gifting the occupied Syrian Golan to the Israeli enemy, offering it as yet another favour. Trump described himself as the greatest American president friend to Israel, claiming that no other American president have given Israel so generously like him.

The plan he presented was firmly in this same vein: another service to Israel. Therefore, he openly seeks to confiscate Palestinian rights. That is why, as previously mentioned, he would not even agree to Gaza being run by the Palestinian Authority. In fact, this is not something we demand, given the Palestinian Authority's weakness; after all, it is the Palestinians themselves who have the right to decide this. It is a basic principle that peoples have the right to self-determination, so how can they strip the Palestinian people in Gaza of this very right and impose their control on them? Indeed, they want to place Gaza under American and British control, with Trump heading what is called the 'Peace Council', which, in reality, should be called the council for confiscating Palestinian rights, targeting the Palestinian people, and preparing the ground for direct Israeli control.

This pattern has been seen before in history: Britain occupied Palestine under the so-called 'British Mandate' and then delivered the land to the Zionist Jews. It enabled their occupation, provided them with arms, suppressed and oppressed the Palestinian people, and furnished the Zionist Jews with every form of support and protection. Their support continued, and they did not leave Palestine before making sure that the Jews were capable of occupying Palestine entirely.

Now, a similar approach is being tried in Gaza: They seek to strip away Palestinian administration and deny the people of Gaza the right to govern themselves. They also want to disarm Gaza and remove all means of defence and resistance, despite such rights being recognised under international conventions, the UN Charter, international law, and the customs of civilised nations everywhere. Nevertheless, they aim to strip Gaza of all these rights and of every means of defending these rights; they even want to ensure that any attempt to assert or defend these rights is criminalised and condemned by all!

They are trying to embroil Arab regimes in security collaboration with the Israeli enemy and push them to move against the mujahidin. Trump was explicit: He declared that it should be the Arab regimes themselves who take on the task of disarming Hamas, the Al-Qassam Brigades, and the Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza—those who defend the rights of the Palestinian people. In short, he wants the Arabs to assume this particularly sordid role in targeting the Palestinian people.

He then spoke at length about these arrangements for Gaza under the banner of 'Changing the Middle East', making clear that the real objective is to consolidate Israeli control over the region and remove any obstacles to that control. In fact, the Americans want Israel to be their agent in this region while they themselves retain overall dominance.

This is the unmistakable American agenda, and it is well known that when they speak of 'Changing the Middle East', they mean altering the region's entire reality to serve the Israeli enemy. This will be at the expense of the freedom, independence, dignity, faith, and rights of the region's Arab and Muslim peoples. It is these peoples who lose out, while the Israeli enemy strengthens its hold and hegemony.

Trump has also emphasised, in other remarks, that he worked towards reimposing American hegemony over the world. This is both the American and Israeli agenda: They seek to assert control over other nations and peoples. Yet those who suffer most are our own Islamic Ummah, our peoples and countries. Indeed, they are the ones who suffer the most since they are the primary targets of the American and Israeli agenda. As for others, many of them are adversaries or competitors, such as China and Russia, and there are also other independent states. Some, like Cuba, North Korea, and Venezuela, have long upheld their independence, though some, such as Venezuela, remain under relentless pressure, mainly because the Americans covet its immense oil reserves. They seek to dominate Venezuela for a range of reasons, but above all for its oil reserves.

Our countries face hostility at every level, vast ambitions, and a false and misguided ideologies— the Zionist creed—on which the Americans and Israelis operate within their Zionist scheme. Arabs must never be turned into instruments of pressure by the Americans and Israelis against the Palestinian people, their resisting mujahidin, or the free Palestinian factions. They must not act to press for the implementation of Trump's plan, which is aimed at confiscating Palestinian rights and entrenching Israeli control. That would be wholly unacceptable—tantamount to treason, a service to the Israeli enemy, and mobilisation on its behalf. It must not and should not happen.

The Palestinian people are a free people, and all their jihadist factions make decisions while firmly upholding the fundamental principles and the legitimate, inherent rights of the Palestinian people.

American and Israeli efforts aim to leave the Palestinian people, their resistance, and their mujahidin across various factions with only two options: the continuation of genocide and occupation, or surrender. Otherwise, the aggression continues—marked by genocide, total destruction, forced displacement, and appalling crimes—under the pretext that Hamas and the Palestinian movements have rejected the 'peace plan'. This is American deception. Even if they were to accept the plan as it stands, the result would remain unchanged.

As we mentioned, what we know about our fellow mujahidin in Palestine, represented by their free and honourable jihadist factions, is that they steadfastly adhere to their principles, to the just cause, and to the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people. They also respond with wisdom, stripping the enemy of its deceptive and evasive tactics.

However, what we need to emphasise is that Arabs and Islamic regimes must not become tools of pressure against them. Rather, everyone should stand with them, whether through exposing American and Israeli deception or affirming the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and the principles that must never be compromised. Abandoning these principles would be disastrous for the Palestinian people and their future.

Allah (Glory be to Him) says in the Holy Quran, {'O believers! If you yield to the disbelievers, they will drag you back to disbelief—and you will become losers. But no! Allah is your Guardian, and He is the best Helper'}[Ali 'Imran 3:149-150]. Indeed, if the governments, regimes, and peoples of this Ummah obey the Americans and Israelis—the leaders of disbelief, the tyrants, the oppressors, the criminals, and the arrogant ones—the inevitable outcome is loss, a truly dreadful loss. For what the Americans and Israelis seek in their Zionist scheme is to confiscate the freedom and dignity of this Ummah, erase its Islamic identity, occupy its lands, enslave it to others than Allah, and subject it to humiliation, insult, persecution, torture, and destruction. Hence, everything in their conspiracies against this Ummah is absolute evil, targeting it in its entirety.

Regarding the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, despite the prolonged and severe blockade, relentless killings, and comprehensive assault, our fellow mujahidin in the Gaza Strip continue to conduct various heroic operations across most battlefronts. These include shelling the Israeli enemy with mortars, striking military vehicles, and targeting herds of Zionist criminals in some of the houses they raid. The Al-Qassam Brigades released a video of a heroic operation carried out by a group of mujahidin east of Khan Yunis. Additionally, the Al-Quds Brigades carried out sniper operations against Zionist soldiers and destroyed military vehicles. The Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades have targeted gatherings of Israeli enemy soldiers with rocket salvos; there were several such barrages. The same is true regarding other factions, with many operations carried out. The Al-Qassam Brigades also shared heroic operations in documented videos, showcasing acts of bravery and devotion in the path of Allah (Glory be to Him).

As for Lebanon, the Israeli enemy continues its aggression. This week witnessed the grand and honourable commemoration of the martyrdom of the Martyr of Islam and Humanity, Al-Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (May Allah be pleased with him), under the banner 'We remain faithful to our covenant.' The event included a powerful address by Hezbollah's leadership.

The immense popular turnout at this commemoration—which proves the loyalty and steadfastness of the resistance's popular base in Lebanon—under the profound slogan 'We remain faithful to the covenant,' carries great significance: Despite all that has occurred—Israeli crimes, pressures from the Israelis, the Americans, and even some Arab regimes in collaboration with the Israelis, and the great suffering endured for the sake of Allah—this supportive base continues to demonstrate its loyalty and commitment to the noble values that earned it the praise of the martyr of Islam and humanity, his eminence Al-Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (May Allah be pleased with him), who would address them, saying, 'O noblest of people, O most honourable of people, O purest of people!' This supportive base remains steadfast in its commitment to bearing the flag, and Hezbollah will continue to carry it forward with unwavering resolve.

Hezbollah's Secretary-General, his eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, delivered a powerful speech reaffirming commitment to the same path and to upholding the banner and pressing on with dignity and unwavering resolve.

In Syria, the Israeli enemy persists in its violations. Its tactics in southern Syria are aimed at entrenching its control. Incursions, barriers, raids, abductions, and more, are not simply isolated events; they are all crimes and assaults that serve the purpose of consolidating Israeli control over southern Syria and imposing a reality of daily violations. The Israeli enemy is determined to make these actions—raids, detentions, the establishment of roadblocks, and other assaults—a daily occurrence, all with the aim of reinforcing its control.

For the first time in Damascus, a Zionist blew the horn in a synagogue at the heart of the city—a symbolic gesture by the Israeli enemy. Nonetheless, it is significant, indicating the depth of this intrusion into Damascus.

With regard to international solidarity, demonstrations took place in five countries within the Arab world and in fifteen countries elsewhere, including a massive rally in Berlin, Germany. Italy, too, has witnessed large demonstrations in several cities, which are of great importance as some officials in the Italian government appear to be Zionists—their stances, their rhetoric, their positions in support of the criminal Israeli enemy, and their statements against the Palestinian people echo that of the Zionists. Therefore, those massive demonstrations, along with the diverse activities there, including those organised by unions, are of great importance.

Among the most honourable stances at the international level are those taken by the Colombian president, which are far ahead of most Arab and Muslim leaders. Indeed, their stances have not risen to the level of the Colombian president's stances:

  • He has called for the formation of an army to liberate Palestine.
  • He has severed all forms of economic and diplomatic relations with the Israeli enemy.
  • His statements are exceptionally robust.

We wish that Arab leaders would have risen to the level of his stance. He has acted out of a sense of humanity, driven by a living human conscience. In fact, the problem in the Arab world, and in much of the Muslim world, is that many leaders, officials, and elites lack a human conscience and have no drive whatsoever—whether religious, national, patriotic, or moral. Their human conscience is dead—it is an appalling and deeply distressing state of apathy.

In Italy, dockworkers and labour unions succeeded in blocking the export of a fuel shipment to the Israeli enemy. Meanwhile, ships from four Arab countries and one Muslim country continue to sail to Israel weekly. We found that many ships depart the ports of one of the largest Arab countries for the Israeli enemy—sometimes as many as eight a week. This has become a regular occurrence, continuing unabated.

Slovenia has officially announced its decision to ban the criminal Netanyahu from entering its territory.

These examples reflect global solidarity and mobilisation, which we hope, Allah willing, will continue increase more and more.

The Global Sumud Flotilla is one of the most prominent, symbolic, and important acts of solidarity, carried out by a group of free activists seeking to break the siege on the Gaza Strip. Yesterday's attempt was the 38th solidarity mission: In other words, they have tried and continue to try persistently, making it clear that they will not stop. At each stage, they organise a flotilla of ships carrying humanitarian aid and activists in solidarity with Palestine and Gaza, setting out despite significant dangers in an effort to break the siege on Gaza. This time, over forty ships sailed towards Gaza, carrying activists from various countries along with humanitarian aid.

The Israeli enemy—as in previous times—has attacked the flotilla, abducted the activists, and seized the aid. Nevertheless, these solidarity activists succeeded in exposing the Israeli enemy's actions. They do everything they can to draw global attention to the suffering of the Palestinian people, and they leave no excuse for this Ummah, the Arabs and Muslims surrounding Palestine, who stand by and watch as the Palestinian people, including children, women, and families, are starved to death and subjected to killing and genocide.

With regard to support from Yemen (the land of faith and jihad) in the Battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad, military operations continue, with eighteen missiles and drones launched this week. Some operations targeted the Israeli enemy deep into Palestinian territory. There were also operations to prevent ships from violating the navigation ban imposed on the Israeli enemy. Some operations also involved confronting the Israeli enemy last Thursday.

A ship was targeted for violating the navigation ban against the Israeli enemy, bringing the total number of ships targeted in these support operations to 228. Indeed, this is a significant figure that demonstrates the seriousness, effectiveness, and impact of the Yemeni effort. At the same time, these actions have had a real impact on the Israeli enemy. It is widely recognised that these actions achieved a major result by disrupting the Port of Umm Al-Rashrash (which the enemy refers to as 'Eilat Port'), causing substantial economic losses to the Israeli enemy in terms of revenues and economic interests. On the other hand, there is considerable strategic significance in blocking Israeli navigation through the Red Sea to the Bab Al-Mandab strait and the Gulf of Aden. Our position is of major strategic importance, and it is recognised globally by research centres, officials, studies, and even by statements from the Zionists themselves.

Last week, there were 1,416 demonstrations and protests on Friday alone. Following Israeli aggression on Thursday, our dear people took to the streets in millions on Friday in a magnificent, honourable, and remarkable mobilisation.

Mobilisation activities of all kinds continue: military training, military marches, manoeuvres, and military displays across several governorates.

Regarding the Israeli assault last week, which involved around thirty-five air raids and naval bombardments, it targeted civilian facilities. This assault, like previous crimes and assaults by the Israeli enemy against our country, will not break our people's will. Our dear people have adopted a just and noble stance in support of the Palestinian people, standing against the Israeli enemy, against violations committed against our Ummah, and against the Zionist scheme, which targets the entire Ummah in its freedom, dignity, independence, sacred sites, religion, and worldly life. Our dear people are fully aware of the importance and necessity of this position in every respect. For this reason, they engage in jihad for the sake of Allah (Glory be to Him), with all the sanctity, greatness, and virtue it embodies—as a profound and sacred Islamic duty that brings immense reward in this life and the Hereafter.

Our position as jihad in the path of Allah binds us to Allah, His mercy, His favour, His generosity, and His reward. We act in accordance with Allah's teachings, instructions, and guidance, so this position is neither reckless nor trivial; it is not even founded on theorising or on the analyses and proposals of one party or another. Rather, it is firmly rooted in Allah's wise teachings and commands in His holy book. We act based on our sacred religious and faith-based duties and obligations, our adherence to the Holy Quran, and our belief in Allah and His true promise and great religion. We follow the steps of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F), about whom Allah says, {'Indeed in the messenger of Allah, you have an excellent example for whoever has hope in Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah often'}[Al-Ahzab 33:21]. Our actions are also in harmony with human nature and noble morals and reflect conscious awareness of the danger posed by the Zionist enemy and its scheme to our Ummah.

There could be no greater position than this one that is built on such firm foundations and guided by noble principles: a position of utmost responsibility, wisdom, soundness, and truth. It is a rightful position for a just case, utterly beyond reproach. This position is great, important, and impactful.

Therefore, in this context, whenever we make sacrifices, they are for the sake of Allah—sacrifices recognised and rewarded by Allah. Everything we offer in this cause is great, valuable, and fruitful.

When a person acts in the way of Allah—participating in jihad for His sake, spending from his wealth, offering his possessions, or making personal sacrifices—he is promised a tremendous reward and compensation by Allah Himself: {'The parable of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is that of a grain that has germinated seven ears; in each ear are a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies for whom He wills. And Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing'}[Al-Baqarah 2:261].

Every hardship in this path is counted by Allah, the Almighty. He—Who never breaks His promise—has pledged great reward and abundant goodness in this life and the Hereafter: {'That is because they are not afflicted by thirst, fatigue, or hunger in the cause of Allah, nor do they tread on any ground that enrages the disbelievers, nor do they inflict any infliction upon an enemy but that it is registered for them as a righteous deed. Indeed, Allah does not allow the reward of the doers of good to be lost. Nor do they spend an expenditure, small or large, or cross a valley but that it is registered for them that Allah may reward them for the best of what they were doing'}[Al-Tawbah 9:120-121]. Therefore, Allah rewards for every suffering and hardship, whether the exhaustion of taking part in demonstrations, striving on the battlefield in the path of Allah, or any activity disturbing the enemy at any level—one {'that enrages the disbelievers'}. Every action within this great and sacred position (jihad in the path of Allah), whether it involves hardship, psychological or physical fatigue, any degree of difficulty, hunger, thirst, or anything else, is rewarded by Allah (Glory be to Him). Even walking is rewarded by Allah: {'or cross a valley'}. In our country, people even cross mountains, not just valleys—let alone moving in open spaces or cities where movement is easier! Every effort is accounted for by Allah (Glory be to Him); not a single effort is wasted. Everything is counted by Allah, in this life and the next.

When it even comes to sacrificing one's life, this means becoming a martyr in the path of Allah (Glory be to Him), which is a supreme victory and an elevation to the rank of the martyrs: {'Never think of those killed in the cause of Allah as dead. In fact, they are alive with their Lord, well provided for, rejoicing in Allah's bounties and being delighted for those yet to join them. There will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve'}[Ali 'Imran 3:169-171].

There is also a divine true promise of victory, which is the crowning reward for all sacrifice and effort. This promise is from Allah, the Great, the Merciful, the Generous, the Powerful, the Mighty, the Subduer, the Compeller, Supreme, and the Capable of everything. He is the Merciful to His servants who respond to Him, believe in Him, strive in His cause with steadfastness and sacrifice, and embody His teachings through steadfastness, loyalty, and patience. He (Glory be to Him) is the One Who accepts their efforts, sacrifices, and endurance and Who values their loyalty, even though all of this is for their own benefit, since He has no need of it. Yet He is the Merciful, the Great, and the Generous; He is also the Powerful and the Almighty, Who is fully capable of granting them the victory He has promised: He has said, {'For it is Our duty to grant victory to the believers'}[Ar-Rum 30:47]. Therefore, we strive to live out the values, principles, foundations, and stances of faith, acting within our faith-based commitments, so that we may attain this great promise from Allah: {'For it is Our duty to grant victory to the believers'}[Ar-Rum 30:47].

Allah says, {'We}—that is, Allah (Glory be to Him), the One Who holds dominion over all things, the Powerful, the Exalted in Might, the Subduer over His servants, the Dominant, the Compeller, the Supreme—{certainly give victory to Our messengers and the believers, [both] in this worldly life and on the day the witnesses will stand forth. The Day the wrongdoers' excuses will be of no benefit to them. And on them shall be the curse, and for them will be the evil abode'}[Ghafir 40:51-52].

As for loss, it lies in the other directions:

  • It lies in surrender and the consequences of such a choice, including enemy domination, which leads inevitably to the complete violation of everything: enslavement, humiliation, insult, the trampling of dignity, extermination, looting, and subjugation. This is the real loss.
  • It also lies in the path of those who collaborate with the enemy, spend money in support of the worst, most malicious, unjust enemy, and participate in its oppression against their own Ummah, thereby bringing destruction upon themselves, too. They make sacrifices for the enemy, remain on standby on the front lines, fight, suffer losses, and side with it in the media and other fields. For this, they bear dreadful burdens, grave sins, and draw upon themselves Allah's wrath and curse, placing themselves under the threat of Allah (Glory be to Him), Who said, {'Whoever takes them as guardians becomes one of them'}[Al-Ma'idah 5:51], and Who also said, {'Believers should not take disbelievers as guardians instead of the believers, and whoever does so will have nothing to hope for from Allah'}[Ali 'Imran 3:28]. This repeated warning in the Holy Quran indicates that such behaviour constitutes true loss. By contrast, following the right path is not a loss.

At this stage, in this era, the enemies intend to spare no one. The enemies seek to dominate this Ummah and to violate it completely. So the right course is to stand on the side of truth, with Allah, based on His teachings and His book, and fulfil your religious obligations, responsibilities, and faith-based commitments, relying on Allah's promises and seeking His favour: {'But you hope to receive from Allah what they can never hope for'}[An-Nisa 4:104]. This way, you build yourself, your strength, and stand up to your enemy, putting your faith into practice through your trust in Allah and His promise and through your reliance upon Him and pursuing a cause whose ultimate outcome is certain, grounded in faith—the strongest and most unshakable form of certainty.

However much pain, turmoil, or sacrifice may occur in the conflict with the Israeli enemy, the final outcome is already assured and confirmed in the book of Allah (Glory be to Him). We believe in this just as we believe in Allah Himself, in His true promise, His book, and His revelations. Allah says in the Holy Quran that the arrogance, tyranny, crime, and corruption of the Children of Israel on earth will ultimately lead to their downfall and demise: {'Then when the final promise came, they would disgrace your faces and to enter the mosque as they entered it the first time, and to destroy what they had taken over with [total] destruction'}[Al-Isra 17:7]. He also says, {'But if you return, We will return'}[Al-Isra 17:8]—confirming that this is one of His established practices in dealing with those criminal, oppressive Zionists, a practice that persists regardless of any support they may receive. Nothing can overturn Allah's true and certain promise.

According to Allah's divine laws, these people are criminals, and their entire existence is built upon crime, occupation, killing, genocide, attacks on sanctities, enslavement of people, humiliation, lies, deception, falsehood, evil, disbelief, and tyranny. Therefore, such a path cannot endure without end; it is inevitably destined to collapse.

Therefore, when we act within the framework of the right position and according to the wise teachings and instructions of Allah, with trust in Him, showing commitment to our faith-based responsibilities and taking a position affirmed by both human nature, international conventions, laws, and norms, and the law of Allah, then we are in the correct position. The sacrifices made are worthy, the efforts fruitful, and the outcomes certain, all within the scope of Allah's promises, which are always true and never fail.

Therefore, we must persist in our position. Our efforts are fundamentally aimed at enhancing and building our military capabilities and establishing the foundations of our economic situation in a manner that confronts challenges and dangers. We must remain constantly active. We are in the right position—one that resonates globally, has a real, certain, and clear impact on our enemy, the enemy of Allah, the enemy of all humanity. These efforts and sacrifices have a defined outcome with a divine guarantee: a true divine promise.

I call upon our dear people to take to the streets in a massive, million-strong turnout tomorrow, Friday, Allah willing, in the capital Sana'a, at Al-Sabeen Square, and in other governorates and public squares. Let this be part of your jihad for the sake of Allah (Glory be to Him), in response to His command, in support of the oppressed Palestinian people, and to stand against all conspiracies targeting the Palestinian people, their just cause, and their legitimate, inalienable right.

I hope that the turnout will be massive, embodying the values of the Yemeni people: the Yemen of faith and dignity, the Yemeni of faith-inspired pride, loyalty, and chivalry. {'Mobilise, light or heavy'}[At-Tawbah 9:41]. Move forward; may Allah bless you, reward you, grant you honour, raise your status, and bring through your efforts a great victory for all His servants. Truly, He is the All-Hearer of prayer.

We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us success in seeking what pleases Him. O Allah! Have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. You are the All-Hearer of prayer. We also ask Him to hasten relief and victory for the oppressed Palestinian people and for their dear mujahidin.

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
