News - Middle East: The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Sunday the successful execution of a strategic military operation deep inside the occupied territories, targeting multiple sensitive sites in Al-Quds with a multi-warhead hypersonic ballistic missile known as Palestine-2.

In a statement, Armed Forces Spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sare'e confirmed that the missile strike “achieved its objectives with precision,” causing widespread panic among Zionist usurpers and forcing millions into shelters.

He emphasized that the operation was carried out in support of the Palestinian people and resistance factions in Gaza, describing it as a direct response to the ongoing genocide and escalation by the Israeli enemy in the besieged enclave.

Israeli media reported that air-raid sirens were activated across several regions, triggering a state of emergency and widespread panic. Despite attempts by Israeli air defenses, the interception efforts reportedly failed.

Channel 12 said Israeli aviation authorities temporarily shut down Lod (Ben Gurion) Airport due to fears that the Yemeni missile could penetrate deep into Israeli airspace — a move underscoring the mounting concern within the occupation’s military and security establishment over Yemen’s advancing missile capabilities.

Meanwhile, the Hebrew news site Walla reported hearing explosions in multiple locations following the launch, though it did not specify the exact impact points or the extent of the damage.
