News - Yemen: The leader of Yemen's revolution has paid tribute to recently martyred chief of staff, framing his martyrdom within the broader context of a "sacred jihad" in support of Gaza.

Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi offered condolences and congratulations to the relatives of the martyred Major General Al-Ghamari and his companions in the Armed Forces, and to all the free people who were martyred on the path to Quds in the battle of the "Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad." He affirmed that the martyr Al-Ghamari had a significant contribution in the battle of supporting Gaza.

In his speech today addressing the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, Sayyed Abdulmalik noted that the Yemeni Armed Forces announced today the news of the martyrdom of "our brother, our comrade, and the great commander, Chief of Staff, the martyr Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari," crowning his great contribution within the framework of Yemeni support in the battle of the "Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad." 

He highlighted that the Armed Forces have offered personnel as a sacrifice to God within the framework of the true and sincere stance in which they have moved, both officially and popularly, in the context of sacrifice and steadfastness.

He explained that they moved forward, fearing none but God, despite the "American ceiling" that was attempted to be set to shackle their nation and isolate the Palestinian people. He pointed out that since the martyrdom of Major General Al-Ghamari and his companions in responsibility and jihad, they have continued the path.

The leader also touched upon the anniversary of the martyrdom of the great commander Yahya Al-Sanwar, indicating that the martyr Al-Sanwar is a symbol of Palestinian steadfastness and sacrifice for the sake of God. He stated that his level of concern, jihad, and what he presented in the field of jihad of great values and high awareness constitutes an inspiring school for generations.

He referred to the great contribution of all the jihadist commanders and all positions of responsibility and support fronts that have made significant contributions, clarifying that the Hezbollah front is at the forefront of those who have made major sacrifices, led by the great martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. 

He also noted that the Islamic Republic in Iran has made great sacrifices in supporting the Palestinian cause with unshakable steadfastness, regardless of the pressures.

He affirmed that the Islamic Republic has presented jihadist commanders, led by the great commander, the martyr Qassem Soleimani.

 Yemen's Armed Forces have announced the martyrdom of a senior military commander in a US-Israeli strikes, while releasing a comprehensive summary of their military operations conducted over two years in support of the Palestinian cause.

The Yemeni Armed Forces said: "the Jihadist Commander, Major General Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari, along with some of his companions and his son, the martyr Hussein, were killed in raids carried out by the "criminal American-Zionist aggression" on the country during the two years of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" battle.

Since Operation Al-Aqsa Flood in October 2023, Yemen has taken an active stance against the Zionist entity, carrying out missile, drone, and naval operations in Gaza, the Red Sea, and beyond.

Popular mobilization across Sana’a and the provinces reflects national unity and readiness to confront any aggression, reinforcing Yemen’s role in the axis of resistance and its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.
