News - Yemen: The Political Bureau of Ansarullah announced on Thursday the death of Major General Mohammad Abdulkarim al-Ghamari, Chief of the General Staff, saying he “was martyred on the road to Al-Quds at the hands of the criminal Zionists.” 

In its statement the Political Office praised al-Ghamari as “a shining star among the mujahideen” and a “model of faith, wisdom, sacrifice and jihad,” saying his life culminated in martyrdom on the road to Al-Quds.

The office credited him with a “major and important role” in the Yemeni support campaign, which it said had a significant impact on the Israeli and American enemy and materially benefited the Palestinian resistance.

The statement extended condolences to the leader of the revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, the Yemeni people, the wider Muslim nation and the general’s family, and said al-Ghamari’s blood had been joined with that of Palestine’s martyrs and those of the axis of Al-Quds, jihad and resistance.

The Political Bureau vowed that Yemenis’ sacrifices — military and civilian — will not weaken popular support for Gaza, and pledged that comrades will continue the martyrs’ path in jihad and in striking the enemies until victory is achieved. It renewed its pledge to uphold the martyrs’ course and said the killing will only strengthen its resolve to continue the struggle.

Yemen's Armed Forces have announced the martyrdom of a senior military commander in a US-Israeli strikes, while releasing a comprehensive summary of their military operations conducted over two years in support of the Palestinian cause.

The Yemeni Armed Forces said: "the Jihadist Commander, Major General Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari, along with some of his companions and his son, the martyr Hussein, were killed in raids carried out by the criminal American-Zionist aggression on the country during the two years of the Al-Aqsa Flood battle."
