News - Yemen: Yemen Scholars Association extended its condolences over the martyrdom of Major General Mohammad Abdulkarim al-Ghamari, Chief of the General Staff, along with his son and fellow mujahideen, describing him as a commander who embodied the Qur’anic culture of faith and struggle against tyranny and global arrogance.

In a statement issued Thursday, the Association conveyed condolences to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the President, the government, the Armed Forces, and the Yemeni people over the martyrdom of al-Ghamari, who “sacrificed his life in the path of Allah, carrying his soul in his hands since the earliest days of the Qur’anic project alongside his companion, the martyr Saleh al-Sammad.”

The statement praised al-Ghamari as a commander who “embodied Qur’anic principles in faith and jihad,” confronting “the forces of global arrogance” with exceptional intelligence, strategic skill, and military talent. It added that “by the grace of his struggle and devotion, the American and British aircraft carriers were humiliated.”

The Association said al-Ghamari crowned his life by fighting in the Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad, rising as a martyr “on the road to Al-Quds and in defense of proud Gaza,” leading Yemen’s support campaign at a time when “many Muslims turned away and stood by as Al-Aqsa Mosque was desecrated.”

The statement concluded that the martyr “sealed his life of jihad with the gift of blood and soul for Allah and the oppressed, under the Qur’anic leadership that guides the righteous toward glory, dignity, and the defense of the nation’s causes.”

Yemen's Armed Forces have announced the martyrdom of a senior military commander in a US-Israeli strikes, while releasing a comprehensive summary of their military operations conducted over two years in support of the Palestinian cause.

The Yemeni Armed Forces said: "the Jihadist Commander, Major General Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari, along with some of his companions and his son, the martyr Hussein, were killed in raids carried out by the criminal American-Zionist aggression on the country during the two years of the Al-Aqsa Flood battle."

Maj. Gen. Mohammad al-Ghamari, Chief of the General Staff, was among Ansarullah’s most prominent military leaders and a key figure in Yemen’s support campaign for Palestine.
