Ansarullah Political Bureau Member: Maj. Gen. al‑Ghamari a Man of the Qur’an who Forced US Retreat

News - Yemen:  Dr. Taha al‑Mutawakkil, member of Ansarullah’s Political Bureau, hailed the late Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Mohammad Abdulkarim al‑Ghamari as a transformative and pious leader whose actions, he said, humbled US naval power and advanced Yemen’s support for Palestine.

In remarks to Al‑Masirah, al‑Mutawakkil described al‑Ghamari as a “man of the Qur’an” who led an exceptional transformation of Yemen’s Armed Forces, raising their independence and combat effectiveness to unprecedented levels.

He credited al‑Ghamari with practical, strategic steps that, in al‑Mutawakkil’s words, “forced American warships in the Red Sea to yield” and enabled Yemen to strike into the skies over occupied Palestine as part of what the speaker called the “promised conquest” in support of Gaza.

Al‑Mutawakkil said the martyrdom of al‑Ghamari supplies renewed momentum and resolve for the nation and its Qur’anic project, asserting that the enemy targets leaders believing this will break popular will — yet, he argued, such losses only deepen determination.

He framed the struggle as the “promised conquest and sacred Al-Quds jihad,” saying current operations are only one round in a continuing campaign and that forces remain ready for further action.

He highlighted al‑Ghamari’s field‑forward leadership and simplicity, noting he often operated outside formal offices and helped elevate the military beyond levels seen under previous regimes.

Al‑Mutawakkil urged skeptics to “ask the skies over occupied Palestine” about the effectiveness of Yemen’s drones and missiles, and he reiterated the movement’s pledge to continue the campaign until the “Zionist entity” is removed.

Yemen's Armed Forces have announced the martyrdom of a senior military commander in a US-Israeli strikes, while releasing a comprehensive summary of their military operations conducted over two years in support of the Palestinian cause.

The Yemeni Armed Forces said: "the Jihadist Commander, Major General Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari, along with some of his companions and his son, the martyr Hussein, were killed in raids carried out by the criminal American-Zionist aggression on the country during the two years of the Al-Aqsa Flood battle."

Maj. Gen. Mohammad al-Ghamari, Chief of the General Staff, was among Ansarullah’s most prominent military leaders and a key figure in Yemen’s support campaign for Palestine. His martyrdom was described as a sacrifice “on the road to Al-Quds,” reaffirming Yemen’s unwavering stance against the Zionist entity and in support of Gaza and the Palestinian cause.
