News – Yemen: Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirmed on Tuesday that Martyr General Mohammed Abdulkarim al-Ghamari represented one of the most distinguished models of the Qur’anic school, marked by deep faith, patience, wisdom, and exceptional dedication to duty.

In his address commemorating the martyrdom of the senior commander, Sayyed Abdulmalik said Al-Ghamari exemplified “beautiful patience in both his conduct and spirit”, describing him as a man who endured immense physical and emotional burdens with unwavering perseverance and devotion.

“He was among those who sold their souls to Allah,” Sayyed Abdulmalik said, emphasizing Al-Ghamari’s sincerity, humility, and steadfast faith that guided him through the most difficult missions.

He noted that Al-Ghamari’s Qur’anic awareness and unshakable trust in Allah enabled him to lead without fear of the enemy’s might, unlike many Arab and Muslim armies deterred by American and Zionist power. The martyr, he said, embodied righteous leadership, balance, wisdom, and moral excellence, serving as a model for the Qur’anic generation.

The Leader added that Al-Ghamari’s innovative approach and adaptability under challenging conditions were key to achieving major leaps in Yemen’s defense capabilities. Through creative problem-solving and faith-driven persistence, he and his companions helped transform adversity into opportunity, strengthening Yemen’s deterrence power despite immense pressure.

“Our martyred commander and his brothers achieved remarkable, transformative results — great leaps forward through faith, innovation, and reliance on Allah,” the Leader said.

He further described Al-Ghamari as “a man of noble character, composure, and respect for others,” noting that good manners and humility are essential for anyone in positions of responsibility.

People’s Massive Funeral Turnout a Testament to Yemen’s Steadfastness

In a related speech, Sayyed Abdulmalik praised the massive public participation in Al-Ghamari’s funeral, describing it as “a clear expression of the Yemeni people’s loyalty, awareness, and unwavering revolutionary spirit.”

He said the turnout reflected the deep bond between the Yemeni people and their Armed Forces — a relationship rooted in shared faith, struggle, and defense of national and Islamic causes.

“Our people view the military institution as part of themselves — from them and for them — moving together in one position and one front,” Sayyed Abdulmalik stated.

He affirmed that Yemen has stood firmly, both officially and popularly, with Palestine and Gaza over the past two years, offering sacrifices and martyrs in “a sacred and historic confrontation” against the Zionist entity and its American partner.

Sayyed Abdulmalik underscored that Yemen’s position is “a source of honor, dignity, and divine reward”, unlike those who aligned with the Zionist enemy, whose stance he described as shameful and degrading.

“Our people’s position will remain a shining, eternal page in history — a school of faith, steadfastness, and certainty for future generations,” he said, affirming that Yemen’s struggle embodies maturity, wisdom, and total devotion to Allah and His causes.

General Mohammed Abdulkarim al-Ghamari, Chief of Staff of Yemen’s Armed Forces and a leading figure in the country’s defense and regional operations supporting Gaza, was martyred in a US-Israeli airstrike targeting Yemen.

A veteran commander of Yemen’s resistance against US-Saudi aggression, Al-Ghamari played a pivotal role in developing Yemen’s strategic missile and drone capabilities and coordinating the nation’s military stance within the Axis of Resistance.

His martyrdom has been widely commemorated across Yemen, with millions participating in public funerals and rallies reaffirming the country’s unwavering support for Palestine and defiance of the Zionist enemy and its allies.
