News - Yemen: Yemen's regional military commands have sent official condolence telegrams to President Mahdi Al-Mashat, following the announcement of the martyrdom of Major General Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari, Chief of Staff of Yemen’s Armed Forces. The messages praised the late commander’s example and renewed a unified pledge of loyalty and readiness to support the newly appointed chief of staff, Major General Yusuf Hassan Al-Madani.

In their telegrams, the commanders lauded Al-Ghamari as a model leader, teacher and school of steadfastness — citing his courage, devotion, discipline and moral conduct. They expressed deep sorrow to the Presidency, the families of the martyrs and the Yemeni people, asserting that Al-Ghamari’s blood will ignite national resolve and fuel continued resistance.

The statements warned that the martyrs’ sacrifices will become a “quake” that topples the thrones of tyrants, the Zionist entity, the Americans and their collaborators, and pledged to carry forward the banner of the fallen with pride and determination. The military leadership affirmed its firm resolve to remain on the front lines and in the arenas of struggle.

The commanders pledged their full support to Major General Yusuf Hassan Al-Madani, promising to act as his support and backing in all jihadist and military duties. They underlined their high state of readiness to confront any enemy plots, and stressed coordination with fighters across fronts and arenas to defend the nation and the cause.

Major General Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari, a senior figure in Yemen’s military leadership and a central architect of the country’s strategic operations, was announced martyred earlier this month in a strike carried out by US-Israeli forces. 

His death prompted wide national mourning, mass funerals and a swift appointment of Major General Yusuf Hassan Al-Madani as head of the General Staff. 

The condolence telegrams from regional commands underscore the Armed Forces’ unity, sustained operational readiness and commitment to continue their military and political course.
